You have to mail your return. I assume that you checked the box in the information section saying that your spouse died.
Answer NO to the 1095-A question, and keep the 1095-B with your tax records - those do NOT get entered on your tax return.
No.  The HMO is considered "disqualifying coverage" for any month in which you don't have the HDHP.
When it asks if you have a 1095A say NO and move on.   You do not enter anything about a 1095B at all.
I tried to print my 1040ES vouchers and still have the message that reports are no final. When will I be able to print these vouchers

If you are referring to the bank account number for a direct deposit, amending the tax return will not correct the problem.  If the account number is incorrect, the bank will refuse the deposit and return the tax refund back to the IRS.  The IRS will either mail a refund check or ask to send them new direct deposit instructions.

Currently, there are 2 states (CT and NJ) offering a reward to their state residents if they can successfully sue NY to abolish this employer  convenience rule. NY is notorious for collecting taxes and going after what they say is taxable. NY is one of 3 states that use this employer convenience rule. It is not common so for most people, it does not apply. You work remotely in NY so it does apply to you.   Very carefully consider your situation. Does your employer allow you to work from home or are you required to work form home?  If you are allowed to work from home, it is taxable NY income. I believe this is what you stated in your original post. If you are required to work from home, it is not taxable NY income. You will be audited if you decide you aren't liable. Be sure you have a letter from your employer or contract some type of proof since you have NY income and withholdings,

There is not any glitch. How old is your dependent child?    To get the $2,200 credit, your child must be 16 or younger on December 31, 2025.   The moment a child turns 17, they no longer qualify for the CTC. Instead, they qualify for the Credit for Other Dependents, which is exactly $500.   Double-check the birth year you entered in the "Personal Info" section. If they were born in 2008, they turned 17 in 2025 and will only trigger the $500 credit.

This seems to be an API issue with most, if not all, brokers.  I use Schwab and they said it may take up to two weeks to get the issues resolved.  Inexcusable!!!  Some have found workarounds, some like me, gave up and posted the summary entries for my 1099 B.  I filed my return yesterday.  I am so done with TurboTax.

Are you saying your CA state refund was less than you expected?   If so, you should be receiving a letter (Notice of Tax Return Change) from the Franchise Tax Board that explains the adjustment.    They are required to send the notice if they made a change; you should receive the letter within 2 weeks of receiving your refund.     California has an Interagency Intercept Collection (IIC) program. This means the FTB can "intercept" your refund to pay off other debts you might owe to government agencies. Common offsets include:   Unpaid child support. Past-due vehicle registration (DMV). Court-ordered debts or unpaid parking tickets. Unpaid student loans or taxes from previous years. Your state refund is not sent in installment payments, so wait for the letter that will explain the change.   Or Instead of waiting for the mail, the fastest way to see what happened is to log into (or create) a MyFTB account.
