It looks like this form is available now.    Use this link to reference when your tax forms will be available. You can search by TurboTax Product and for IRS and State-Specific Forms.
I'd send it ASAP but wouldn't chance blowing the deadline for the 1099 waiting for a response from the contractor (which you probably won't get).

If you e-filed the tax return, then you will have to wait.   You will have to wait for the IRS to either Accept or Reject your filed federal tax return. If the return is rejected you can make the necessary changes and e-file again. If the return is accepted you will have to amend your original tax return. An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 20 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return. Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS. See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a current year tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-federal-tax-return-current-year/L7eS6o1qh_US_en_US?uid=lfunevhk

@M-MTax wrote: Again (yet again), NOTHING is being added or improved in ANY of the Windows 10 products; they're merely receiving security updates.   I would not consider a software product with no new features, additions, design changes, improvements, etc., to be "fully supported".  HOW exactly is the Windows 11 Start menu an "improvement" over that in Windows 10?  All they did was take features away!  Ditto for the Taskbar, and the default views in Explorer windows.  It's absolutely been dumbed down.   If in your opinion a new shiny coat of paint on the hood of a car that had the A/C ripped out of it is a desirable "design change"  then... maybe you're posting in the wrong thread?  😎

In your post in an old thread from last year about tips, you said that your tips are included in the wages in box 1, but are not shown separately in box 7. In that case, the employer is wrong. The W-2 is not filled out correctly. You should first try to get a corrected W-2 from the employer. If the employer refuses to correct the W-2 you will have to include a Form 4852 substitute W-2 in your tax return. When you enter the W-2 in TurboTax, enter the correct information instead of what's on the W-2 from the employer. That means you will subtract the amount of tips from box 3 and enter the amount of tips in box 7. After you enter the W-2 information, you will get a screen that says "Let's check for uncommon situations." Check the box for "Didn't get a W-2" (even though that's not your situation) and click Continue. The next screen asks if you want to complete a substitute W-2. Select Yes. Proceed through the screens, entering the requested information to complete Form 4852. It will ask you to enter explanations of what you did to try to get a correct W-2 from your employer, and how you calculated the amounts that you entered. The prompts on the TurboTax screens assume that you didn't get a W-2 at all, but that's not what the actual Form 4852 says. The form says to explain your efforts to obtain an original or corrected Form W-2, and how you determined the amounts that you entered. TurboTax will include the Form 4852 substitute W-2 in your tax return. After you complete the substitute W-2 TurboTax will ask you questions to determine if you are eligible for the deduction for tips. You should not enter the tips as unreported tips. If you do that your tax return will include Social Security tax on the unreported tips. But you already paid that Social Security tax. You don't want to pay it again.

TT Home and Business Desktop will NOT accept ANY Social Security income, pension income, or 1099 NEC income.  It says "available soon" for some items and NOTHING for others. This is pathetic.  Yes the software was updated today.  Over the last 20 years I have found significant calculation errors in TT, and have reported those.  A TT CPA would contact me and arrange to correct things in a week. I have no one to contact now--the new "chat" stuff............. How does an organization so big NOT have their software ready to go at this time?   Maybe their CEO who got paid $37 Million in 2024 should cut his pay and hire a few extra people to get some work done. I would add that we have TWO family friends who had their checking accounts hacked (the refund account) just after using TT on-line in 2024.  That's another whole can of worms, but between that and the use of customer data "for advertising" purposes (read your agreement) says TT needs an entire new ETHOS including allowing clients to keep data on their desktop.  Taking care of clients is just as important as profits.
