Same situation here.  This doesnt appear to be a priority for Intuit and it irritates the heck out of me.  This isnt the first year this 529-Roth rollover scenario has existed and I'm not sure why Intuit hasnt already addressed in the software for Tax Year 2024.   TurboTax Premier does not support this situation (QTP to Roth). The error-check actually states that, "Our program has not updated to support this yet." When can I expect a resolution?   I have used several AI applications to ask how I should resolve this issue.  ChatGPT stated that you literally have to go directly to forms and zero-out the taxable amount.  This did apply the right tax treatment (rollover not taxed), but my return still not pass the TurboTax error check.

Yes- you can qualify for the Colorado Earned Income Credit even if you did not qualify for the federal Earned Income Tax Credit.  Because you are under 24, you do not necessarily have to be a full time student, and your status as a dependent does not disqualify you.  Because you work part-time, you may be able to qualify for the credit.     See Colorado Earned Income Tax Credit Schedule for ITIN Filers or Certain Filers Under Age 25.

So it is now February 16 and the Depreciation/Amortization tables are still not available online.  What is the latest??

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:   Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu. Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website. Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms. Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit." Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.   Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it.  It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner.  The IRS does not allow you to take it back.   If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.”  The changes will go nowhere.   Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return.  If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.    Sometimes—not always— the IRS corrects your mistakes, while they are processing your return.    If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund.  THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and e-file or mail  it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally.  You will need to use a form called a 1040X.     Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself.  Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed   The Form 1040X is scheduled to be available on February 19.   The date is subject to change, so check on 2-19 to see if it is ready.   Before that, do not change anything at all on your return.

Instead of entering the Kentucky Employer ID, try using the Federal ID number.  This is perfectly acceptable, as the employer can be identified.    @wbrummer
Amendments are usually available toward the end of February.
If the e-file was rejected for an incorrect SSN, you can fix it in MY INFO and re-file.

Anyone else struggling with the captcha for importing financial institutions data?  Any tips on getting through it?   This is the absolute worst captcha implementation I have ever seen.  I won't be a TT customer much longer if this doesn't get fixed. I spent 5 minutes on it, then gave up.

The deceptive/misleading communication around this is starting to smell like a class action.  False advertising.  Charging for services not rendered.  Jury award/settlement would include not only cost of TT's product, but also interest on total class aggregated refund amount currently inaccessible due to lack of complete Schedule E software.     IRS interest rate for late payments in Q1 of 2026 is 7% per annum, compounded daily.  That's the rate TT should pay us for refund we cannot access.
