If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.
To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:
Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL.
Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu.
Toggle the switch to ON.
Refresh the page and attempt your import again.
If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play:
Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements.
Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back.
Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.

Fill out the explanation statement from the interview. At the end of the 1099-R interview, TurboTax will ask you about missed RMDs and you can complete the explanation statement from there. Where do I enter a 1099-R?
If you didn't take your RMD, TurboTax will fill out Form 5329 for you and attach it to your tax return. To do this, follow the steps below:
Sign in to your return - Continue in Wages & Income.
Search for 1099-R and use the Jump to link and answer the questions about disaster distributions.
On the Did You Miss a Required Distribution From Any Retirement Accounts? page, choose the type of account you have.
Continue through the questions about your RMD
We can help you file a waiver if you have a reasonable cause.

This is for Online: I can't remember the exact error because I'm not working this year. But the problem should be on the first page you get to on the file section. If you are trying to move forward and no longer have the bank account it is directing you to or no longer want to use it, I believe you have to act as though you will be using the same account for direct deposit, continue, then change it after getting pass that area. If that is not the issue, can you attach a screenshot and show where you are stuck? In addition, you can call an agent and if they still can't assist, have them download your info into a .tax file and file the return electronically in the desktop version. Agents are working to assist you guys. Don't hesitate to chat or call someone. (800) 446-8848

Royalty income from your business would be entered in TurboTax Business under Federal Taxes >> Income >> Other Income >> Royalty Income. This entry is reported on Form 1065 pg5-6 Schedule K Line 7 and is included in the total income for your partnership.
Business Expenses are entered under Federal Taxes >> Deductions >> Business Expenses. These entries are reported on Form 1065 pg1-4 under Deductions or Form 1065 p5-6 Schedule K Deductions.
While the expenses may appear on Schedule K-1 Part III Line 1 (Ordinary business income/loss) and royalty income on Line 7, the net income to the partners is calculated using both lines. This is the correct treatment because you are in the business of generating royalties. Other companies that own royalty property (or intangible assets) would deduct expenses directly from the royalty income.
Schedule K Line 13(e)(I) Deductions - Royalty income from K-1s reports income that flows from a K-1 provided by an investment held by your company. This line is not used to report your business activity.

TurboTax transfers data from your federal return to your state return. Before you begin troubleshooting your state return, go back through your federal return and make sure everything is correct.
After you review your federal return, select the State Taxes tab and review the state section. Pay close attention to the information, especially if you have made changes to your federal return. There might be new sections that need to be completed.
Troubleshooting common federal to state transfer issues

This is key: The amount of the compensation will never exceed the amount received by the shareholder either directly or indirectly. However, if cash or property or the right to receive cash and property did go the shareholder, a salary amount must be determined and the level of salary must be reasonable and appropriate. So you need to take a salary but it would be dependent upon profits. The IRS can't and won't do anything if you have nominal profits and can only afford to pay yourself a small salary as a result.

Do you live in FL but your W-2 came from another state? If so and your employer withheld for that state, if there was an amount in box 17 of your W2 or taxes paid to any state on any of your 1099 forms, this would transfer from your federal to your Schedule A.
If you do have income that is sourced from another state, you would need to file a non resident return for that state to reconcile your tax liability for that state. However, if you do not have income sourced from another state, you may need to still file a non-resident return simply so you can get a refund of the money that was withheld erroneously. In this situation, you would enter $0 for your income for that state and keep the amount of the withholdings as reported on your W-2 or 1099 form.

Gifts given to family members, friends or other individuals are not deductible. Gifts received are not taxable to the person who received the gift, and are not entered on a tax return.
If your gift exceeds the yearly limit ($19,000 per individual) imposed by the gift tax rules, then you will need to complete a Form 709 gift tax form and send it to the IRS, although it is very unlikely that you will owe any tax.
TurboTax does not support Form 709. It is not an income tax form and would not be included as part of an income tax return.
