When you use online TurboTax, each return needs its own account and user ID.  If you use the same account and user ID for more than one person, the first return is overwritten and lost forever.   You will not be able to transfer the 2024 information for an "old" account that was overwritten.   (The term is "transfer"--not import)     You need to simply start over with a new account and new user ID for yourself now. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-start-another-return-in-turbotax-online/00/25596 https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/file-your-own-taxes/

You can find the six-digit property key number on the notice you received from the New York State Tax Department stating that your 2025-26 STAR credit advance payment was underpaid. If the credit was not underpaid, Form IT-119 is not applicable.   See the form and filing instructions for NYS Form IT-119, STAR Credit Advance Payment Reconciliation for specific details.
@aviana-cerezo    On the Deductions&Credits page there is a Charity section & menu item to select & then  start entering your charity donations.

Edit: This took me back to where I was before. Sorry, I thought I was where I needed to be.   When I click on Edit from the Self-employed screen I don't see a page where I can add income. Instead, I see a page titled, "Your Web Design Info" which shows a list of attributes such as "Work Description", "Who did this Work", etc. I can edit them but there is no option to add income. At the bottom of this screen is one a single button labeled "Looks good". If I click that I am taken to a "Time to Add Expenses" screen.    -- Thank you  —  this is very helpful. The direct link took me to the exact spot I needed to be. I'm a little puzzled about why I couldn't get there from the Federal > Wages & Income > Self-employment income route, but I'm not concerned since I'm where I need to be. I appreciate the quick reply.

@btrutt    A question I would have for you...is exactly how did you "import" it?   1)  Was it directly from the W-2 provider? or 2) did you upload a picture or load a PDF file of that W-2? _________________________ #1 only has rare problems, mostly in the formatting of the file the provider of the W-2 creates. #2 Can have some major issues, because an A.I . must "Interpret" what it sees, and it is critical that you EDIT any form you upload using method #2 to make sure everything was entered in the proper boxes   I always recommend manual entry instead of #2.
What happened to the the section for Rental Property Depreciation as it is not there while doing my taxes on 02/08/2026? I read something about it being available on 02/13/2026?

I'm using online turbotax. I imported the file for the wrong person. I cleared and restatrted through tools/clear menu. However, the financial info was removed, but the personal information such as name, address, SSN are still retained and I can not seem to update the personal information such as name, SSN, etc - in other words I need to start from a totally blank return including personal information so I can inport the tax return for the right person.

I have the desktop version and have the same problem.   I followed all of the prompts, and it is still trying to calculate taxes on the qualified distributions.  Doesn't even ask for the tuition expenses.  Only asks for book expenses.  Something seems wrong with the software.
Please clarify the question. Do you have a Canadian Pension? Have you ever had any retirement account from Canada?

Form 1099-SA reports the distributions you received from your HSA. When you enter the information from this form into TurboTax, you should also see questions about how you used the funds or what medical expenses were paid. If you have expenses equal to or greater than the distribution amount, you will not be taxed on these funds.   For more information, see What is a health savings account (HSA)?
