I did not say I was expecting them in 5 days. I was curious of how my spouse filed theirs without the “5 days early” option and received theirs before mine.  I have been tracking on the IRS.   but also on turbo tax when you log in it says if you chose the “5 days early” option then you should be using the TurboTax refund status. “ you signed up to receive your federal refund up to 5 days early into your bank account, TurboTax will update your refund tracker and send you an email the day that the IRS approves your refund.” - direct from website.   Please reread my post I’m just asking how he received his return before me when he didn’t pick the early option. He got his more than a week prior to the “21 days” and I am 2 days till my 5 day early mark.  @xmasbaby0

The “senior deduction” is added automatically by the software based on the date of birth and filing status you entered into MY INFO.  You do not need to take any extra steps to enter it. (And…the new senior deduction has nothing to do with whether you are getting Social Security)   The deduction is not on the same line as your standard deduction.  It is shown separately.     2025 STANDARD DEDUCTION AMOUNTS SINGLE $15,750  (65 or older/legally blind + $2000) MARRIED FILING SEPARATELY $15,750  (65 or older/legally blind +1600) MARRIED FILING JOINTLY $31,500  (65 or older/legally blind + $1600) HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD $23,625 (65 or older/legally blind + $2000)     For 2025 through 2028 there is an extra  deduction amount of up to $6000 per individual 65 or older filing Single, MFJ, or HOH which is phased out for taxpayers with modified adjusted gross income over $75,000 for single filers and $150,000 for joint filers.   (The deduction phases out completely at $175.000 Single or HOH, or $250,000 joint)   The $6,000 senior deduction will be calculated on 1040 Schedule 1-A page 2 Part V Enhanced Deduction for Seniors which goes to 1040 line 13b. It is separate and in addition to the Standard Deduction or your Itemized Deductions on 1040 line 12e.  Turbo Tax automatically includes it. No, this article will help you download any data you had in ItsDeductible (if used previously or during the year before it was shut down in October).   There will be a new tool that will help calculate the Fair Market Value (FMV) of the donated items. However, no information on when it is going to be available yet.

When entering an IRS Form 1095-A with $0 values into TurboTax, do not enter "0" or "0.00" in the boxes.  This will generate an error.   Instead, leave the fields blank for months with no coverage or no subsidy.    If you entered zeros, delete the form and re-enter, leaving those specific, empty spaces blank.

TurboTax Full Service Experts can only amend a return that they prepared.    Your Federal return can only be amended to receive a refund within three years of the date it was filed or two years from the date the tax was paid, if later. However, California has a four year statute of limitations period rather then three years like the Federal return.    Please see this help article for the steps to view, download, or print your prior year returns up to seven years back if you used TurboTax to prepare the original return.   See this help article and this one for instructions on how to contact TurboTax customer support depending on which product you are using.
You can enter the amount from the worksheet manually on Form 2210, line 8 in TurboTax. Just use the View and Forms menu options to bring up Form 2210.

Any time frame kn when this will be fixed. Kind of ridiculous this has been taken care of.

Did check the box for "A portion of these dividends is US Government interest"? Then enter the full amount on the next page. We're unable to reproduce this experience when the dividends are entered as tax-exempt government interest. The California K-1s report no taxable income.   You may wish to delete the 1099-DIV that you entered before saving the return and exiting TurboTax. This should remove the large number from the California Adjustments. Then restart the program and enter the dividends as US Government interest.

I received a message from TurboTax yesterday that they fixed the problem and it is being rolled out as an update.  They said it would update the next I launched TurboTax.  I have done so three times over the past day and there has been no update.  I manually checked for updates and the program said I was up to date.  The problem still exists.  Has anyone had an update/fix?

You received an email that we cannot see that tells you why your tax return was rejected.   Some rejected returns can be fixed and re-filed.  Some have “un-fixable” reasons for the rejection and have to be mailed instead.    What is the rejection code or rejection message?     If it was rejected for AGI—-your 2024 AGI might not be in the IRS system if you filed late.   Try using zero instead.   If filing with zero is rejected then file again but select the option that you did not file last year.  The IRS does not see that question and it will allow you to e-file with no AGI question.     https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/where-do-i-correct-my-agi-in-turbotax-online/00/26311   If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.
Yes, don't check the '5 Day Advance' option if you want to see the 'Refund Advance' as an option when Efiling.    @KirbyR
