TurboTax does not issue your refund. Only the IRS is in control of issuing your refund. Once you file your tax return, TurboTax gets no information from the IRS. It is all up to the IRS. You can track your refund on the IRS refund site.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
https://www.irs.gov/refunds
To track your state refund:
https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_US_en_US?uid=lt447ebr
If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing
https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/refunds-take-longer-others/L14YlqFrH_US_en_US?uid=lexdr7zh
.
https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/irs-refund-taking-longer-21-days/L2vRAJbdU_US_en_US?uid=lexe7lst
If you are getting earned income credit on line 27 or additional child tax credit on line 28 You are subject to the delay required by the PATH act. Do not expect your refund before early March
https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/internal-revenue-service/federal-refunds-delayed-due-path-act/L5jnQJsBi_US_en_US
Note: “Accepted” is not the same as “approved”. TurboTax tells you the e-file was accepted if the IRS deems that there is enough information on the return for them to take it in for processing. Only the IRS can approve of the refund, which is a later stage of processing. If the IRS approves your refund they will provide a date for the refund to be issued.
FROM THE IRS WHERE’S MY REFUND SITE:
https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund
How it works
Where's My Refund shows your refund status:
Return Received – We received your return and are processing it.
Refund Approved – We approved your refund and are preparing to issue it by the date shown.
Refund Sent – We sent the refund to your bank or to you in the mail. It may take 5 days for it to show in your bank account or several weeks for your check to arrive in the mail.

I did not earn money in Missouri and changed my home of record after getting out of the military in November. Now I have to pay $1847 to MO. Is there a way that I wouldn't need to?

Yes, because there probably was not any federal taxes withheld from the income reported on the 1099-NEC. So your income increased but your federal taxes withheld did not increase with the additional income reported.

@Jhass since the advice seems to be contradictory, why not contact the bank to see how they'll report it?

Ys, it should be the full $598.50. Where did you enter the OT premium and when you walked through the remaining steps did you select that you already know the deductible amount or you would like TurboTax to calculate it for you?
If you said you would like TurboTax to calculate it for you, it would have divided it by 3 and then entered that amount as the deduction.
To fix this you can go back through the W-2 section and then when you get to the Overtime questions, the one that says do you want us to calculate it for you or do you know the number, select that you know the number and that is the right amount. This will take it back up to the full amount.

@MarilynG1 I agree with your comment about the audit not required, as I noted in my comment about the order of questions on Form 5695 (Residential Energy Credits) and the verbiage in the form's instructions. BUT - also as I said earlier - this is a Turbo Tax bug - unless I specify a non-zero amount for the audit (I did not have one), Turbo Tax is NOT giving me the A/C credit. So, I am forced to specify $1 for the audit I did not have, and then Turbo Tax correctly enters Form 5695, and I get my $600 credit. This is DEFINITELY a Turbo Tax bug.

It appears that there was an error when I closed my 2025 tax return and it did not save, now when I go back to 2025 it only gives me the option to start new. I would like to download information from my 2024 return but do not have the option to pick a previous return from my desktop. I have used turbo tax for several years so have access to all returns on my computer thanks

This is likely because you did not select the box that says you have already completed 4 years of school. Go back to your 1098-T entry section and walk through the steps. You will come to a question that says do any of these apply. One of the questions is did you complete 4 years of college? Say yes or put a check mark in that box. This will take away the American Opportunity Tax Credit and give you the Lifetime Learning Credit if you qualify. To get there select the following: Federal Deductions and Credits Education 1098-T
