If the asset varied in business percentage from year to year, TurboTax can't calculate the sale.   You would need to say it was converted to personal use, then manually report the sale in the "Sale of Business Property" section, using your manually calculated amounts.  Or go to a good tax professional this year.
As long as it is received before 4/16/2025 it will be counted as received on time.

Thank for responding, and yes I am using TurboTax Desktop.   I still have questions. Yes, I think the carryover amount is the issue. But no, it's not identical to my 2024 contribution. Those are two different values.   In the Carryover Worksheet, line 26 is: (a)           (b)        (c)         (d)      (e) blank   blank   4820.   blank     0. In other words, only cell (c), 30% Capital Gain, has a value.   And yes, if I put something in field (a), it changes my deductions and my eventual tax due. But how am I supposed to know what to put there? TurboTax is importing those from my previous years TurboTax files. And I don't have any Other Property carryover, so that field is blank, which is correct.   For Schedule A, TurboTax is computing a value for each of line 12 and line 13, and adding those to line 11 to give my total charitable contributions. But that total is more than 50% of my AGI (and I am in the 50% case, not the 60% case), but TurboTax is not limiting my total contributions to 50% of AGI. I think that is incorrect.
How do I tell the difference between my IRA simple 1099 and my ROTH 1099?

If you have a single member LLC and then received a 1099-NEC for another business or non employee role, then you would have two Schedule C's. Each business would have their income and expenses listed on their own return.  If the 1099-NEC is for work through the LLC, then you should only have one Schedule C. You would have to  look to see if the form 568 was generated. If you are using the download version, you can select forms mode to see.  If you are using the online version, and have not paid yet, you can see this in the delete a form section. Do not delete the form, but you can see if it is there.  If you have paid, you can see the form in the print preview mode     From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.) On the drop-down select Tools On the Pop-Up menu titled “Tools Center,” select Delete a Form  This will show all of the forms in your return Scroll down to the form you want to delete Select the Form Click on Delete.  Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.

I have a trust that has an EIN (estate and irrevocable). We owed a small amount this year. Is there a way to verify on the IRS website that a payment is in progress? It was filed electronically by my CPA so I didn't pay it through TurboTax.   Not sure if folks can help here as the Direct Pay option on the IRS website only pulls up a SSN and the business option only looks at corporations.

Thank you @mesquitebean and @fanfare and @CatinaT1 , very helpful, and this completely explains why it's there.  This is the first year I've really checked with to this level of detail, and I was really doing it while helping out my daughter with her return (she was running into the classic AGI mismatch during online filing error, the one that's solved by entering 0 instead of the AGI). For my issue, now I know how it works, so this will help for years to come.  I appreciate it!

Thanks Fanfare
Not sure what you are asking.  Texas does not have an income tax so there's no STATE return.

Thanks!  I have an online account (that's how I saw the letter), I've just never logged into it on April 15th.  I think there are some good explanations for why I'm seeing it now; seems like it's standard practice to see it until they process my return.  I'll give it a few days (weeks) and see if it disappears.

Did you enter a 0 or a blank?  Exactly where?  How did you fix it?  It may help a lot people posting about the 1099NEC  EIN/SSN problem.

The tag below your question indicates that you are using the desktop TurboTax software (Home & Business in Windows). If that's correct, hopefully you saved a copy of the return with a different name before you started amending it, or you have a backup copy of the return that you actually filed. If you don't have a copy of the .tax2024 file for the original return, go to forms mode and delete the Form 1040-X. But that will not undo the changes that you made. You will have to go back and manually change everything back to the way it was when you filed. Before you start this process, save a backup copy of the return as it is now, in case you make a mistake and have to start over.
Ignore the TurboTax marketing emails.   But if Social Security has the wrong date of birth on record for you, you need to sort that out with Social Security.  Do not delay doing that.
