If you are referring to a direct debit from your account, as long as you filed your taxes or extension before the due date (April 15, 2025), and scheduled your direct debit, there's nothing to worry about.  the IRS  or your state may not be able to debit your payment until after the deadline, due to high e-filing volume. Also, it can take your bank another few days to post the debit to your account.   Refer to the TurboTax Help article When will my tax payment go through?

I was told by Mark that all I had to do was give you the case number and get me back where I started.

Enter stipend  Enter at Educational Expenses and Scholarships, under Deductions and credits (not the income section). After answering no to having a 1098-T*, answer yes to qualifying for an exception (that gets you to the entry screens). You will have to go thru the whole education interview to get to the scholarship screen. At the scholarship screen, enter the amount of the grant. When asked if any was used for room and board, answer yes. Then enter the amount you want to be taxable (usually all of it), in the pop up box. R&B are not "qualified educational  expenses".  So, this is how you tell TT that it is taxable. Note the wording at that screen “or other expenses”. You didn’t have to literally use the scholarship for R&B.  This will put it on line 8r of Schedule 1 (this line was added in 2022).   *If you do have a 1098-T, one of the follow-up questions will be do you have any scholarships not shown on the 1098-T. Enter the additional scholarship/stipend there.
No.  The cost bases of the rental property is based on the date the property was placed in service for depreciation purposes.

@DanaB27    Thank you for your assistance.   2023: I understand this and have no further issues.   2024: I understand this and have no further issues, i think i got confused by the step-by-step telling me i had until the deadline this year to avoid the 6%, but in reality that applies to the first year it happened based on what you've said.   2025: I will likely get a form and not have any issues with this, but can always seek advice (albeit earlier) next year.   My one remaining question would be in 2) you linked an article.  I assumed that because i was up against the max, that earnings would count against me, it sounds like via the article it would not have met the criteria?  Is there something to be done now with it, or it now is what it is?   I do appreciate you taking the time out of your day to help me and others (as well as the rest of the folks here).

I too am having the same struggles understanding it in the Summary pages of TT docs/pdfs. For starters the effective tax rate state 12.26% and not about of wishful thinking makes that a valid/true number. The effective tax rate should be total tax divides by taxable income. Using that formula it shows my effective tax at 21.83%. The state summary calculates correctly by the way. This error alone has cause me to second guess the whole of TurboTax. This is why I looked up the tax schedule on your site and IRS.gov. Luckily those two pages matched. If in fact I am paying for more than just taxes, ie. Social Sec, etc., should the summary not be programmed better to list out the numbers accurately? This is a huge letdown for such a pricy software package. Every year costs go up and it seams that desktop app quality is getting worse as the higher ups focus on Online versions which cost even more because of "LIVE" support.   If I were to double check the fine details on the printed forms where would I find the numbers for the Social Sec, and other line items that make the total bill?

I have a solo 401k and have maxed out the employee contribution as well as the employer contributions.   Only the employee contributions are being used in the math. So I separately added the employer contribution as a business expense (picked the Misc category - and labelled it as "Employer Contributions to Solo 401k")   Is this the correct way to do this from Turbo Tax Premium?  I am surprised it does not automatically do this.
