I sold a small amount of cryptocurrency (BTC) last year. TurboTax is trying to make me fill out Oklahoma Form 561, but none of the "types of property" apply as BTC is not any of the options: 1. The sale of stock in a qualified Oklahoma corporation. 2. The sale of an ownership interest in a qualified Oklahoma company, limited liability company, or partnership. 3. The sale of qualified real property located within Oklahoma. 4. The sale of qualified tangible personal property located within Oklahoma. 5. The sale of qualified intangible personal property located within Oklahoma as part of the sale of all or substantially all of the assets of an Oklahoma company, limited liability company, or partnership or an Oklahoma proprietorship business enterprise. It also won't let me check the "exclude" box. What do I do?

After working on all specific deductions, I was told to take the Standard deduction. Turbo Tax did not inform me my Deductions Total and how close I came to the Standard deduction level. Therefore, I do not know if I indeed fell short of the Standard Deduction level. Did I miss this information?

Joining this conversation. What should you do if you gave goods to others in a different year or so, than the year you received anything in return, and vise versa. How do you report that, for example: If I received cooked meals etc. when visiting someone in 2023, but in 2024 year I in return made desserts? Does it get reported for the year you received the goods or the year you gave the goods, or do you have to Amend a tax return go back to 2023 report GAIN for that year, and then 2024 tax return count as a LOSS that year? Until you give something in return, is that actually considered Bartering or any kind of tax reporting income whatever it may be considered.?

Yes, you can access it here Intuit Free Edition Start Here for Free.
About 37% of taxpayers can use TurboTax Free Edition. TurboTax Free Edition is intended for taxpayers who file a simple Form 1040 only (no schedules except for Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and Student Loan Interest).
If TurboTax detects that your tax situation requires additional coverage, like deductions for owning a home, unemployment income, or self-employment income, you will be prompted to upgrade to a version that supports the forms you need so that you can maximize your tax deductions and file an accurate return.
Some things that are not covered in the free edition are as follows:
Unemployment income
Retirement Savings Contribution Credit for 401(k) and IRA contributions
Education credits
Child Dependent Care Credit
