Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities.  There is no rule as to which one will come in first or how long it will be between their arrival in your account.   TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.  “21 days”  is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.      First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/   Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.     You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds   To track your state refund:     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_US_en_US?uid=lt447ebr   If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/refunds-take-longer-others/L14YlqFrH_US_en_US?uid=lexdr7zh . https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/irs-refund-taking-longer-21-days/L2vRAJbdU_US_en_US?uid=lexe7lst         If you are getting earned income credit on line 27 or additional child tax credit on line 28 You are subject to the delay required by the PATH act.  Do not expect your refund before early March   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/internal-revenue-service/federal-refunds-delayed-due-path-act/L5jnQJsBi_US_en_US   Note:  “Accepted” is not the same as “approved”.  TurboTax tells you the e-file was accepted if the IRS deems that there is enough information on the return for them to take it in for processing.   Only the IRS can approve of the refund, which is a later stage of processing.  If the IRS approves your refund they will provide a date for the refund to be issued.   FROM THE IRS WHERE’S MY REFUND SITE: https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund How it works Where's My Refund shows your refund status: Return Received – We received your return and are processing it. Refund Approved – We approved your refund and are preparing to issue it by the date shown. Refund Sent – We sent the refund to your bank or to you in the mail. It may take 5 days for it to show in your bank account or several weeks for your check to arrive in the mail.
Have had no correspondence from IRS
And now when I check where’s my refund it went to processing delayed

Yes and no. I believe you are referring to the health insurance deduction for self-employed individuals. Medicare insurance premiums would be qualified health insurance for that purpose. That may be deductible on your Form 1040 since you are self-employed, provided you cannot be included on a group health insurance plan through your or your spouse's employer. You can amend returns from previous years to take the missed deduction, but you can only go back three years from the due date of a tax return to get a refund.

You have to be aware that your tax return uses the address entered in the “Personal Info” section, so any changes that you make to your account won't be reflected on the return.   It's important that you update the system to ensure your state taxes and any IRS correspondence are correctly handled. To do this, clear your browser’s cache and cookies from your computer to clear out any remaining data.    Follow the instructions below: How do I delete cookies  How to clear your cache    After clearing your browsers, try these steps to save your changes: In your TurboTax account go to My Info section. Maine uses the same form for the amended return as it does the original return.  It just has you check a box saying this is an amended return. When it is asking you for the overpayment on your original return it is asking for the number on line 28 of form 1040ME.     Line 25f is the total of all of your payments and refundable credits, so line 26 is deducting what you already received as a refund to come up with what you either owe or don't owe.     So that is where you would have seen the numbers I was explaining earlier.  If line 25f was $2,200 and line 26 was $2,500 because that was the number on line 28, then you would see line 27 -$300. So when you are looking at your forms, look at line 24.  This is your NEW total tax.   Then line 25 is all the withholdings and payments you made.   Line 26 is what you already had refunded to you. (Since you have amended before, be sure this amount includes refunds from all returns and amendments- if you ONLY got a refund on your original return, then it would just be that amount) Line 27 is the end result of what you owe or will get back. Line 28 or 29 will be what you over paid (refund) or underpaid (owe)

I understand your frustration. To determine if there is an actual issue here, we would like for you to send us a diagnostic file to see if there is a flaw in the software itself. I reviewed this earlier, and I felt there was no issue but perhaps there is something that was overlooked that is specific to you.    The diagnostic file that I am asking you to send has no personal information, but consists entirely of data.  All personal information is "scrubbed" from your return. To send:   Go to the black stripe in the heading of your software, select online. Select send tax file to agent. Send us back the token number that appears on the screen. As a part of the TurboTax Community, we take great pride in the service we provide. We do monitor these posts, and we do take things seriously.   @kcarterco

The ability to take the pension exclusion for a New York beneficiary IRA distribution is present, but it's true that you do need to know where to look for it in order to claim it.   We at Intuit TurboTax want our users to be completely delighted with their experience using our products and services, and successful in their financial lives and businesses. Once you file your return, as long as the settings to receive communication from Intuit don’t block it, you will see a pop-up message or receive an email with a survey asking you about your experience. We encourage you to leave your notes and comments there. “Voice of the Customer” notes and comments are read and acted upon.  If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can also leave feedback at the Final Steps tab.
After I went through the Asset Summary session, it calculated the depreciation expense for me. Then it was done. It never asked me for the selling price and the selling expenses.
