premier address change

we moved to another state in early 2024.  TT Premier asks if the mailing address has changed (Personal Info) and permits me to update the info; however, it does not update the info

You have to be aware that your tax return uses the address entered in the “Personal Info” section, so any changes that you make to your account won't be reflected on the return.
 

It's important that you update the system to ensure your state taxes and any IRS correspondence are correctly handled. To do this, clear your browser’s cache and cookies from your computer to clear out any remaining data.

After clearing your browsers, try these steps to save your changes:

• In your TurboTax account go to My Info section.
• On the Summary Page, select the Mailing Address section.
• Select the pencil icon, click Edit and enter again your 2024 address.
