There are no extensions for the time that tax due needs to be paid.   If you pay late, you are just late and your state can bill you for interest owed.   Sorry.   You must pay your state tax due using the state’s preferred method of receiving payment.  For most states that will be by making a payment to the state’s own tax website, or by mailing a check or money order.     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/state-taxes/contact-state-department-revenue/L9qVToi02_US_en_US?uid=m6e06um0   WHAT IF I CANNOT PAY MY TAX DUE? https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-payments/pay-taxes/L8aQBCpPO_US_en_US?uid=m9iryksw

No, if you can't pay, you can set up a payment plan or pay what you can. Extensions are for paperwork, not paying.

an individual extension is form 4868 if you have a social security number that is to be used If you’re a nonresident or resident alien and you don’t have and aren’t eligible to get an SSN, you must apply for an ITIN. an ITIN is an individual tax identification number that is distinct from a business TIN or EIN.

The best thing to do is to enter the amounts as they should have appeared on the 1099 if it had been corrected, figure the amount of tax due and then pay that amount of tax along with an extension.  That allows you six months to get the corrected 1099-DIV from the brokerage.  At which point you can come back and adjust the 1099 if necessary and file the return.     @Pankajkr

I can't get past this error. No matter what I enter or if I leave the Box 20 Code Z and Code ZZ empty, it always returns  the error "Box 20 Code Z (or Code ZZ) has been selected but no Section 199A income has been entered on Statement A. I have no income reported on my Statement A. The TT Tax Support library offered no solutions that worked. I had to file an extension while I wait to see if TT can fix this.
You have to add each one as an asset.

Which state? If TurboTax "sees" you had a break in coverage it is due to something you entered.  You will need to go back and double check your answers in the section asking about Healthcare.  You should not let it go due to the fact that it could create a penalty for lack of coverage.

Landlord isn't a filing status.  It's a job.  Your filing status is single or married filing jointly or head-of-household or married-filing-separately.  In Virginia you would have to have $11,950 in Virginia source income to have to file a tax return in either case.  If the $10,000 in rental income is your only income from Virginia sources then you are not required to file a Virginia state tax return while you are a non-resident.   @James34
No, the appreciation is the amount of income you are taxed on- if you do not include it, you will underreport the income.
