I was advised by the IRS if you file after the 50th week, you must enter 0 for the AGI.

No. TurboTax doesn't have your W-2 or 1099 forms, but if your payroll or financial institution is one of our providers is a TurboTax Import Partner, you should be able to import it. You will need information from your W-2 or last paycheck stub to import. From your W-2, you need the information from Box 1 (gross income) or year to date gross income from your last paycheck stub and your employer's EIN. Sometimes, you will need the Control Number, which is in box D of the W-2.
For additional information, review the TurboTax Help articles Will I be able to import my W-2 before I get it in the mail? and How do I import or enter my W-2?
If your financial institution is an import partner with TurboTax, you can follow the instructions in the TurboTax article How do I import my 1099s? for navigation instructions.
If your financial institution isn't an import partner, you can scan your 1099-R to your computer and upload it or manually enter it.

Thanks @ThomasM125 ThomasM125, I got to step 3, View Tax Summary. And it shows me a preview of the line items. So that’s cool. But the numbers are in grey and I cannot click into them to see what constitutes my Total Income line. Step 4: Preview my 1040 on the left side menu bar is not there. I only see Tax Tools, Tax and Print Center. I’m contemplating clicking Clear & Start Over at this point. I tried to downgrade to the simple free version cause I only two W2 and one INT from my credit union. But TurboTax tells me I don’t qualify because I have an ‘other tax form’. Whatever that is.

No. If you have NO other income and are not filing a return otherwise, then no, you do not need to file a return for this. If you are filing a return, you do need to include it on the return.

(a) Are you a US person ( citizen/GreenCard/ Resident for Tax purposes ) ? If not US citizen, then citizen of which country ? If you are on work visa -- Resident for Tax Purposes , which visa ?
(b) Your pension distribution you said is lump sum , does this mean a total distribution ? Why is the taxable amount different from gross distribution ? Is this because of your own contribution or what ?
(c) Was this your first year of pension -- is this because you are no longer a UK resident, because of age or what ?
(d) Are you currently in the USA or in the UK ?
I am trying to understand the whole situation, specifically for treaty considerations, taxability of the pension amount etc. Obviously and based on your answers, there may be more questions to answer.
I will circle back once I hear from you --yes ?

Thank you. I should also note that I did indicate correctly for my first submission of the 1040 that I went through the Market Place for healthcare. The return was not accepted as the 8962 form was not included. I submitted a second time saying that I did NOT go through the Market Place. This was a mistake but the return was of course accepted. I'm guessing that since the IRS has a copy of my 1095-A that this will elicit a 12C. Does the Community concur with this guess?

I just received my 2024 limited partner Final K-1 showing a Box 1 Ordinary Business Loss of $3,483. Same amount is in Box 20, Code Z and Code AJ. I don't know why the loss isn't showing up in my desktop TurboTax 1040 calculations. There was no loss carryover from 2023. Any recommendations?

Have you entered your income earned from working yet? The childcare credit will not work until you have entered your W-2 income or income from self-employment that shows a profit. And...you cannot get the childcare credit if you are filing married filing separately.
You will not get the childcare credit until (unless) you enter income earned from working. The credit does not work unless you enter your income first. If you are filing a joint return you must show income for both spouses, or show that one or both of you was a student or disabled. If you have self-employment income and show a loss you will not get the childcare credit. You will not get the credit if you are filing married filing separately.
If you have entered all of your income and you have entered your dependent(s) then work on the childcare credit by entering the Tax ID or Social Security number of your childcare provider and enter the amount you paid for the childcare.
One of the most common mistakes that messes up the childcare credit for people is listing all of the earned income under only one name on a joint return. Make very sure that your incomes are listed under each of your names. It’s pretty easy to check. Go to the Income section, and click “update” on Wages and Salary. That will take you to the W-2 Summary. Do you see income listed under both of your names?
The person receiving the care had to be 12 or under or qualified as mentally or physically disabled. To claim the childcare credit you need to be filing as Head of Household or Married Filing Jointly. (NOT married filing separately)
If your child was born in 2024 make sure you say the child lived with you all year. The credit is a percentage of your expenses based on your AGI (the higher the income, the lower the percentage) You must provide the Social Security number for each child you are claiming, and the Social Security number or Tax ID for each care provider.
In the case of divorced or never-married parents—only the custodial parent can use the childcare credit.
And remember that the childcare credit is a NON-refundable credit. It can reduce your tax owed down to zero, but it is not added to your refund.
