As a very long time user I'm disappointed in Intuit for this delay. I know it will be delayed until 2/25 but it took me looking this up in the help section to get this answer. Covid is an answer for everything which is a cop out. If Covid is truly the problem then employees must have been layed off to cause a delay in the change of the program. If this is true, you must not care for your customers when it comes to service. If I have a problem like this next year I'm switching to another program.
This has nothing to do with Turbotax lol it is the IRS who finalizes the forms.
Actually it has EVERYTHING to do with TurboTax.
1) The form has been available on IRS website for weeks.
2) The form has been available on other tax vendors websites for weeks.
3)Turbotax dropped the ball on getting their version approved by the IRS for unknown reasons so COVID becomes the convenient excuse.
This delay is being caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and year end tax revisions.
The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 was signed into law on December 27, 2020. The legislation includes $900 billion for various COVID-19 relief programs, government funding of $1.4 trillion and many, many tax provision changes.
IRS Form 4835 Farm Rental Income will be available February 25 according to forms availability.
If you are involved in Renting a Farm or Farmland, you should report the income and expenses related to that activity on Form 4835, Farm Rental Income and Expense. However, if you are in the trade or business of farming, you must complete and file Schedule F, Profit or Loss from Farming, along with your IRS Form 1040.

A Form 1095-B is not entered on a tax return. The TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions have not yet received the updates available on 02/25/2021. The TurboTax online editions have been updated.
Be patient, the software updates scheduled for today will become available.
Here's where I purchased at Amazon--REVIEWS--if any of you purchased at Amazon, PLEASE leave the appropriate review.
Click here Turbotax Reviews on Amazon and 60 day return policy
ALSO, Turbotax has a 60 day return policy with receipt--so will next be asking Turbotax for refund per their advertisement on Amazon:
"60-day, Money-Back Satisfaction: Try TurboTax software. If you're not satisfied, return it to Intuit within 60 days of purchase with your dated receipt for a full refund."
There are many forms that are not entered on the tax return itself, but have always been available to enter for our digital records along with other worksheets and forms. I would need to scan this form to a pdf and save it separately--so may as well do the tax return manually.
Today is 02/25/2021 and form 4835 is still not ready. OH, I know, Covid right? Yeah, right!
Yes it is 2/25 however the day is not yet over and Intuit is a west coast company.
Still no update and it's 4:51 PST. I have a case number. Is calling 800 624 9066 the only way to contact support about a refund? Is there any chat line or?
OK calling eight hundred six two four nine zero six six the only way to follow up on the case number I have for a refund under the 60 day policy for TTax purchased at Amazon?
You can track the progress of your product refund in the form in the below TurboTax FAQ:
How do I request a refund for my TurboTax product?
