I also went ahead paid for the deluxe version instead of it coming out of my refund to see if that would make the option for refund advance available and now instead of just direct deposit it shows direct deposit, paper check, or multiple bank accounts. Still no refund advance. I’m getting really frustrated here. Turbo Tax just uploaded a blog post TODAY about them offering it so why isn’t it available to choose from?! And why the heck do I have to pay to talk to someone about this? I’ve used TT for 6 years now. This is ridiculous. I’ve never went through this much trouble.
Not all customers will be offered the refund advance. There are certain situations that will not apply.

I’ve read this article 15 times before you posted it and none of these things apply to me. I’m not even getting to the approval option. What are the “certain underwriting processes” if it’s not based on your credit? I already filed rather than worrying about dealing with it any longer since I already paid for the deluxe product. Which is also a rip off. But I’m definitely not using Turbo Tax next year after 6 consecutive years. An utter disappointment.
