Self-employment fee refund request

I used TurboTax to file my tax on February 10, 2022. I received $1004 for federal tax and $530 for state tax. I was charged $153.48 (deducted from federal tax return) only received $850.52 instead of $1004 for my federal tax return because of the self-employment fees service. However, my state (Maryland) has yet to deposit the state ($530) into my account even though I provided them all of the information they requested. I would like my self-employment fees refunded ($153.48) to my account because the self-employment fees you charged me is pretty much pointless since my state tax return never deposited after about six months of waiting after providing the Maryland controller the requested information via mail.

The online fees are to prepare the returns whether you have  tax due or refund.  Once Turbo Tax transmits your return they are done with their part.  They are not involved with getting your refund.  That's between you and the state.  Was your state return efiled and accepted?

Double check your efile status here

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup

When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  What does it say for state?
