Why is my return still pending?

Yes.. they’re accepting the same returns we submitted to turbo tax without making any changes to them and within minutes of submitting them. 
It’s time for TT to get real about their screwups here and why people have been pending for almost two weeks. It isn’t a backlogging of returns and it isn’t the fault of the IRS.

My return is still showing that it’s pending. When I called IRS a few days ago, they stated that my return had been rejected but I haven’t received anything from TurboTax informing me that my return had been rejected. I’m getting told from the community and IRS that I should have received an email letting me know it was rejected and what went wrong and that I should be able to correct it and refile it.

When you check your e-file status here, does it show accepted or rejected?

If you don't have an email from us and your return is still pending by 10p PT on Friday the 19th of February, please comment below. You can also check your e-file status. 

We understand these are stressful times and appreciate your patience.  If you receive an "accepted" email in the next few days, we'd love to see that, so please report back.

@TerukoL  That’s old news. They didn’t meet the deadline and no one here got that email, obviously. Now a new email has been promised to be sent by the end of this week for anybody willing to sit and wait another 3-5 days. This whole thing is a cluster.

Lol I love how ppl come up here and say blah blah blah you will get an email within 48 hours and obviously everyone here filed over a week ago smh. Turbo tax is going to take a major hit next year because I guarantee not one of us that have had this bulls*** happen will be returning. 

turbo tax has no clue what they are doing this year
