This is irritating

So 21 days past, where my refund has told me absouletly nothing so far, both state and federal were accepted according to turbotax, I got no emails, nothing says its been approved, but magically I got my state taxes back on the 4th, and turbotax failed to message me and still only days accepted even though weeks have passed, the the irs takes way to long, I have direct deposit that doesnt seem to make any difference on how fast u get your taxes back, looks like more then 9 put of 10 people on here are complaining because they taxes are late, its a blantant lie that 9 out of 10 get their taxes back early and the least the super lazy its could do is show something on wheres my refund, its either that or maybe we shouldnt count weekends, are we supposed to count weekends? Are we supposed to count yesterdays hoilday? So many unanswered questions as well

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

To track your state refund:

On the IRS site you are also offered the use of an app called IRS2Go

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

If over 21 days since being Accepted by the IRS and the tax refund is still Processing you can call the IRS and speak with an IRS agent concerning your tax refund.
Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Then press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
It should then transfer you to an agent.

It has nothing to do with turbo tax. This is an irs issue. Once the forms are efiled it is outside of tt purview. So take a breath. I bet it says your refund is being processed and no bars or maybe u had a generic path message and now it says being processed. Occasionally it will even drop out and say info incorrect. You can double check by calling the automated line and checking it. But let me tell you. This is actually good news . I’d say if you have not received a letter or any contact from irs you are fine. The process is stressful but just expect to have info by the 27th. This is what they need to start telling people. 30 days instead of 21 if you have path. And at least 30 days for a ddd.

No I never had any message and I still dont from war and i still dont have my taxes tomorrow will be 4 weeks, i do agree its that i since i havent recieved a letter or contact form i should be fine, but it really blows my mind how lazy the irs truly is, its a blatant lie that 9 out 10 people get their taxes early, because 9 out of 10 people have children or earned income credit and the majority of those people most likely filed back in January and they didn't start processing those until the 22nd, then add up everyone on this site alone thats comaining about theit taxes being late, plus everyone else thats not on this site who hasnt gotten their taxes yet, we all know theres fast workers, average workers, and epically slow workers, i bet they hired people based on looks, you know "pretty people" they tend to slow, because god forbid they break a nail or break onto a minor sweat

Also the automated line doesnt tell me either and turbotax should be able to tell me something, next year im going to change tax services to h&r block because my sister is getting updates, also last year turbo tax told when my taxes were approved and also they told me once my state and federal were sent, i am also wondering if turbotax will tell me anything once their recieves them because i paid for a turbotax service or if they will also leave me in the dark about that as well
