This is a known problem. See this TurboTax support FAQ - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/filing-instructions/filing-instructions-...
Go to this IRS website for the federal tax return mailing address, by state. with or without a tax payment - https://www.irs.gov/filing/where-to-file-paper-tax-returns-with-or-without-a-payment
Thank you!
is there any guidance or resource offered in the meantime? I am trying to figure out what, if anything, needs to be attached to each state and fed return. I spoke to someone on the phone who said nothing needed to be attached, but he also said that I should mail my state and fed return together to the same address, which I'm pretty sure is incorrect.
It's a feature, not a bug. TurboTax is being really pushy about e-filing this year. When I selected "File By Mail", it immediately reverted me back to e-file on the next page. I had to opt out of e-filing twice.

For your state return:
When I go to the FAQ link provided, it says the problem has been fixed, and so the information is removed. The poroblem is NOT fixed.
@jonhoyle The Filing Instructions page will be included if you use Print Center for your tax return.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2024 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
