That number is just an automated "where's my refund" and doesn't allow you to talk to anyone. I filed with TT  on 12 Feb 2022 with the 5695 after it was rejected for some unanswered energy credit questions off the wizard. (don't know how it passed the wizard). After correcting, I filed, and it was accepted that same day. It's been 39 days and still haven't seen any progress from being accepted. Thinking it has to do with the 5695.

Thanks, crazy how they bury the agents in the menus. Spoke with the agent and there was a transmission error (no idea whos fault). Now it can take up to 10 weeks.

My docs were transmitted and received on 2/11. Still have not received refund. Also had the 5695.

Mine still says processing as well. Idk what is going on. Very frustrating though

This means the IRS has your tax return and is processing it. Your personalized refund date will be available as soon as the IRS finishes processing your return and confirms that your refund has been approved.   Once your return has been accepted by the IRS TurboTax is not notified of the status.  TurboTax does not issue refunds.  All refund inquiries should be made to the IRS.

I filed my taxes on february 19th and had completed the 5695 thru turbo tax . with in a day or so I got the text that my taxes were received. It is now April 10th and my refund is still in the limbo phase and not approved. I have googled like crazy and it seems many are having the same issues. but it seems it was an update issue but it was taken care of earlier.  cant call the IRS numbers it gets you nowhere. has anyone gotten an answer yet cuz it seems like many are in the same boat.

I think most of us are in the errors department for 10 weeks. Not sure what happens after the 10 weeks because most of us are coming up to that right now. Sounds like an error on the IRS side adding 00 to the end of our solar tax credit. Our forms are fine, their end is an outrageous amount. It didn’t matter who you filed with.

Up the thread a few messages back there are instructions to talk to an irs rep. however they will just tell you there was a transmission error and the process will start 10 weeks after the irs accepted your return. I'm on my 9th week.  Good luck.

If the IRS has accepted your return, TurboTax will not receive any status updates about your return.  TurboTax does not issue refunds so all inquiries should be made to the IRS.

I am thinking so as well.  I know I spoke with someone yesterday and she said we will either have a status change to approved or be notified of any corrections, changes, and etc via mail.  That of we do not receive anything by the 10th week of being accepted to call them back for additional information.  I am at 8.5 weeks now but have to wait until the 23rd for any movement before reaching back out if I haven't heard by then.

Yeah I'm the 23rd too. Makes me think the error was just if you filed 12-13 feb with form 5695.
