Where did you see the word "approved?" Or did you mean "accepted" for processing?
Some states are fairly quick with refunds, while other states can take a long time processing returns--even several weeks--as they crack down on detecting fraudulent returns. You may be able to get an idea about how long it takes in your state from the FAQs at your state's tax agency website as I will mention below.
Of course, you first need to be sure it was successfully filed. Here's how:
If you efiled, be sure your efiled state return was accepted. If you used Online TurboTax, you can check by looking at the Tax Home in your Online account.
Or did you choose to file by mail instead? TurboTax does not mail it for you. If you chose that method, you have to print, sign, date, and mail it.
The FAQ below tells how to check on a state refund and has a link for your state.
TIP: While you're at your state's tax website, also look for a statement or FAQ that may say about how long it takes to get a refund in your state and how to long to wait before phoning the state tax agency. Many states have such information on their websites.

As indicated, Accepted (received for processing) is not the same as Approved, which is a later step. Each state has its own timetable, and some are very slow.
Hi, should I still be waiting it out?..

Did you e-file your state tax return and was it accepted?
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.

Did you have a state tax refund? If so, what is the status of the refund on the state refund website?
If the status is still processing, then contact your state department of revenue for information on the refund. See this TurboTax support FAQ for state department of revenue contacts - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/state-taxes/help/how-do-i-contact-my-state-department-of-revenue/0...
yes I have two, when I check the website it tells me “Your return has been received and is being processed.”

Then you need to speak to a state department of revenue agent to find out why the state return is still processing after 5 months from being received.
