That's what they are telling me two this is ridiculous turbo tax is a scam I still havent got my taxes and they were supposed to take it out of my taxes now if I ever do get my taxes turbo tax isnt getting **bleep**!!!
Is this what you are posting about-----the debit of the fees for using TurboTax? You can call and ask them to defer it for awhile.
Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund? Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive? Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account. TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.

iI's been my story also. I finally had to file an efile because they had a incorrect direct deposit #. If you are waiing go to Irs.gov and press where is my refund? Then at least you will know whether iss been sent but lost. Liike ,ine has been for 2 months and counting. And if that does'nr work, call customer service!
I received an email stating that TurboTax will take $225.00 out of my account on 6/18/2021. I too am still waiting for my tax refund. It has been 9 weeks. I have used TurboTax for years. This is the first time TurboTax is debiting my checking account. This will be the last time I use TurboTax.

The same thing was showing for me when I was going to the website for the IRS. I went to another website that my husband had gotten in a letter in the mail and it actually showed me my information. The website is tax.ohio.gov it stated the day that my check was to be released and if it wasn't in my account within 5 days, I was to get ahold of my cars company. if they have no record of it, then I was to call another number for the IRS. hopefully helps for you.
IRS is for Federal. Federal and state are completely separate and can't tell you about the other return.
12 weeks...IRS still processing...government efficiency at its best.
11 years with Turbo Tax and now they threaten to TAX my ass with the fees the IRS should have deducted from my return that is 3 months late still being processed.
I filed electronically over 15 weeks ago and still processing too. As to the fee Turbo was going to charge after they agreed to take it out of your refund, call them, Customer Service, and they will give you an 30 day extension, which is most like extendable beyond that point, but you would have to call them again to get it. Lady was very cooperative and pleasant and solve the problem, at least for now. I have used Turbo tax for over 14 years...
I am having the same issues I e-file my taxes on 3/14 I till haven’t got them at all
I just happen to be a Legal Analyst and former Federal Employee with the Coast Guard and dealt with Government Lawyers and such who are no different than us. My suggestion to all who think their returns are long overdue is to write a short but curt letter to the IRS and ask them "Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act" that you want to be made aware of any possible errors that are holding your return back as well as a tentative date that you can expect your return.
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)is a law that requires Federal Agencies to answers questions posed to them by Tax Payers. The only problem with FOIA is that the Agency can take time to answer the question because they must research the answer. It's worth a try.
I'm dealing with the same thing how can they expect us to pay for a service they didn't actually work
Yeah TurboTax is a joke they screwed my taxes real good and didn't include my 1099 information and then I have the IRS contacted me and all this other crap and now these fools one to take money for a services doesn't even work
@Chefadams What do you mean TurboTax did not include your 1099 information? There are over a dozen kinds of 1099's and the USER has to enter it---either by keying it in or importing it. What did you do to enter your 1099? This is do-it-yourself tax software. The calculations and results are based on your own data entries.
