If I receive a deposit from TPG Products Sbtpg LLC but it isn’t no where near my whole refund, am I getting that back? Or no?

Turbo tax fees: $109.00. I know that they charged, that is clearly stated.  As for a $40 processing fee from a 3rd party bank to take those fees out of my Federal return? Ok. I can deal with that.

@CodyCharles Did you also have a state tax refund?  If so, that is sent separately to you by the state, it is not sent to the third party processor.

If the amount missing is not your state tax refund, then you will have to contact SBTPG or email their parent company, Green Dot Corporation to find out the status of the missing federal tax refund amount.

I received my state refund from the Tax Commissioner NDSTTASRFD direct deposit to my bank account. I received the exact amount I was due and that was stated on the turbo tax website. 

I have trusted and used Turbo Tax since 2013 and I have taught my children how to file through turbo tax.  I have always deducted my turbo tax fees from my Federal Refund.  Please know that I understand how your process works.  I have never had a situation like this.  I am missing $328 and I have zero explanation of why. 

I sent TPG an email asking for an itemized report of how my Federal IRS Tax refund was processed through their bank. However, I do business with Turbo Tax, not some california bank. I expect Turbo Tax to assist me in finding answers.

My point is that I am not the only one having this issue and Turbo Tax shouldn't try to wash their hands of it. Turbo tax has a contract with TPG...I dont. If I knew they would charge me $328 to process my turbo tax fees out of my federal return do you really think I would have selected that option? Zero chance of it. I would have paid the $109 turbo tax fee out of my bank acct.  This is very wrong.

I will Never again use turbo tax, I will never advise anyone to use turbo tax Ever. TPG LLC  FROM $235 to less than a hundred dollars good bye and good Riddance!!!

Same thing is happening to me now. All websites are saying my refund has not been sent, but I received it from the Santa Barbara place. It is $200 short what it is suppose to be after the $129 fee. I never agreed to any other charges.

To clarify, is $200 deducted from the original refund amount? If so, the Santa Barbara Bank deducted $129 plus a $40 processing fee for a total of $169.  is this the difference between your original refund and what you received from SBTPG?

Is the amount sent/issued by the IRS the same as the refund amount shown on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 35a? - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Are you also receiving a state tax refund? If so, the state refund is sent directly to you based on how you chose to receive the state tax refund, it does not go through the third party processor.

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. My refund was $695. Minus the Turbo Tax fee I was expecting $556 per both the IRS and Turbo Tax. My deposit was $447. Where is the rest of my money?

Your refund could also be offset.

The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts.  You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for.   

The IRS provides a toll-free number, (800) 304-3107, to call for information about tax offsets.

my refund is $ 248.00 - $ 39 for Turbo Tax Live Basic - $ 40 for Refund Processing Service Fee = $ 209.00

I received a deposit of $ 166.00   was charged $ 21.00 for a third party to get my refund.  WHAT???!!!

Was not aware of any 3rd party involved with our money or refund.  $ 21 may not seem a lot of money to you but it is to us.  Why wasn't we told of a 3rd party involvement??  Our paperwork from  Turbo Tax  has no record of a 3rd party fee>  Please refund us our $ 21.00 that we DID NOT agree to.
