If I filed my 2021 taxes and my daughter wasn't approved for the ctc even though she met all requirements

My daughter was born in February and was living with us since birth (more then six months) we went through all the qualification questions and according to there list of qualifications she is qualified and should receive the payment for 2021 when I filed she wasn't approved for the credit. We've gone through the list again and she still qualifies. So how do I get her payments to be able to help with diapers clothes and food.

Do you mean she was born in 2021?   Did you say in My Info that she lived with you the WHOLE YEAR?  You have to say that for a newborn.

Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number.    Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment.  If your child was born in 2021make sure you said he lived with you the whole year.  There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support.  Say NO to that question.

If you messed up on any of those, then amend your return to get the CTC for 2021.
