Complain to your congressman or woman. Millions are still waiting for the IRS.
I already did.
so how many weeks for you?
Thirteen so far!!
This happened to me and finally today I get a letter from the IRS telling me that I now owe because of a stimulus impact adjustment.. Only problem is I didn't get the 2nd stimulus..so I will deal with them and Turbo tax next week.
If you claimed a missing stimulus payment on your return but the IRS took it off you have to ask the IRS. They think they already sent it to you. Maybe it went to an account you don't remember. Or you got a check or a card. It was probably easy to miss the debit card in the mail and think it was junk mail. They have to put a trace on it.
How to put a trace on a missing 1st or 2nd Stimulus payment
Very unsatisfied with TurboTax still haven’t received my refund this is frustrating
@mhurte26 It is frustrating to wait for your refund. You are among many people who are waiting for the IRS to process your tax return and issue your refund.

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS. Many refunds are taking longer during the pandemic. The IRS is backlogged —-they are still trying to process millions of 2019 returns; they received millions of e-filed on the day they opened for 2020 returns, and now they are burdened with sending out another round of stimulus checks.
Some delays are resulting from incorrect amounts that folks entered for stimulus checks they received. Many people have been confused by the recovery rebate credit and completed it incorrectly. The IRS may delay your refund while they cross-check to see what you received. Some refunds are delayed because of the tax law changes that went into effect recently. If your return has unemployment or the premium tax credit on it, that may be delaying it.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 34of your 2020 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

As of May 15, 2021, we had 300,000 individual tax returns received prior to 2021 in the processing pipeline. Including current year returns, as of May 15, 2021, we had 16.4 million unprocessed individual returns in the pipeline. Unprocessed returns include those requiring correction to the Recovery Rebate Credit amount or validation of 2019 income used to figure the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC). This work does not require us to correspond with taxpayers but does require special handling by an IRS employee so, in these instances, it is taking the IRS more than 21 days to issue any related refund. If, as a result, a correction is made to any RRC, EITC or ACTC claimed on the return, the IRS will send taxpayers an explanation. Taxpayers are encouraged to continue to check Where’s My Refund? for their personalized refund status and can review Tax Season Refund Frequently Asked Questions.
I did get my fed tax refund, with interest! I checked the IRS refund tool again (it had not been finding any info at all) and it said my refund would be direct deposited in about 3 days. The next day I saw it coming into my checking account. The wait was way longer than usual, so I hope everyone else will be getting theirs soon too!
...when did you originally submit your tax return?
03/18/2021
Its been the same for me I'm not using turbo tax next year or h&r block my fiance used them it's been 11 weeks for him and nothing still almost 11 weeks for me and absolutely nothing
12 weeks and counting. Still no refund
I filed mine around the same time. Did you get yours yet?
I'm at about 10 week mark (filed mid April)
Have called the IRS more than once and got no where.. the person on the other line could not tell me when it would be processed and indicated there was no escalation process (find that hard to believe).
Contacted my Senators and Congressman. For them to help, I have to sign a Privacy Release form which would give them the ability to talk to the IRS about my return.. Not sure I want to do that.
There is a Tax Payer Advocate group that should be able to help (in theory) if you can get through. Which I have not been able to, and it looks like there site is down now.

Has anyone found any in-roads to get past the bureaucracy to find out the real wait time?
