If you used TurboTax Online to file your tax return(s), you may sign in to the appropriate account and verify they have been Accepted. Moreover, you may also Check my efile status.

Furthermore, per the following IRS link, 2017 Tax Season Refund Frequently Asked Questions:

I claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) on my tax return. When can I expect my refund?

  • According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue EITC and ACTC refunds before mid-February. The IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting Feb. 27, 2018, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.
  • Where’s My Refund? on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go mobile app remains the best way to check the status of a refund. Where’s My Refund? will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC and ACTC refund filers on February 17. These taxpayers will not see a refund date on Where’s My Refund? or through their software packages until then. The IRS, tax preparers and tax software will not have additional information on refund dates, so these taxpayers should not contact or call them about refunds before the end of February.

Also, if you chose to pay TurboTax with your federal refund, once the IRS reviews and approves your federal refund, the amount is sent to a third-party, who processes the TurboTax fees and the remaining amount is deposited into the bank account you provided. The state refund(s) must be reviewed and approved and will be sent directly from the state(s) (no third-party is involved). Please review the following link(s) and the link(s) embedded on the webpage(s) for more information:

It depends.

Have you tried logging back into your TurboTax account and checking to make sure your return was transmitted?

You can also click the link below to check on your e-file status.

Check E-file status

If the return shows that it was e-filed and accepted, you may just need to wait a bit longer.

If it does not show that it was filed, you will need to resubmit the return.

Turbo Tax does not mail anything for you.  If your return says Ready to Mail that means you have to print and mail it yourself.

Or Did you efile?  Was your state return Accepted?  Double check your efile status here

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  what does it say?

The Status of my refund has not changed since I was given notification that my Tax Return had been accepted by the IRS. I check irs.gov every week and it still says, “your refund is being processed.” This is crazy that it still has not been finalized.. In addition I did not even get my stimulus! Please let me know who I can try and call to find out what’s going on.

Only the IRS controls when and if a tax refund is Approved and Sent.  It will remain "in processing" until they approve the refund for distribution ...

Call the IRS:  1-800-829-1040  hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday

When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.

So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info).  Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.

Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".

Then press 3 "for all other questions."

Then press 2 "for all other questions."

- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don’t enter anything.

- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.

Then press 4 for personal or individual tax questions.

It should then transfer you to an agent.

Or you can contact your local IRS office.  See this IRS website for local IRS offices - http://www.irs.gov/uac/Contact-Your-Local-IRS-Office-1 or call 1-844-545-5640 to set up an appointment

Or you may want to contact a Taxpayer Advocate in your area.  See this IRS website for Taxpayer Advocate in your area and a toll free number - http://www.irs.gov/Advocate/Local-Taxpayer-Advocate

My return was accepted on February 11th and I STILL have not received my refund nor have I received a letter. It is impossible to get a live person on the phone at the IRS and when I try to use track my refund on the IRS site it just keeps saying that my return is still being processed. According to the intuit website and everything I've read online I should have my refund the first week in March. What do I do? Who can help? I also haven't received my 3rd stimulus, I'm starting to wonder if something i wrong with my new intuint debit card account.

Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. If it has been more than 21 days since you return was accepted, then they can research your account.

Also check Where’s My Refund. This is updated every day.

For information about your third stimulus payment check the Get My Payment tool. The IRS will use data already in its systems to send the third stimulus payments. Taxpayers with direct deposit information on file will receive the payment that way. Those without current direct deposit information on file will receive the payment as a check or debit card in the mail.

Many different factors can affect the timing of your refund after the IRS receives your return. Even though most refunds are issued in less than 21 days, it’s possible your refund may take longer. Also, remember to take into consideration the time it takes for your financial institution to post the refund to your account or for you to receive it by mail.

Some tax returns take longer to process than others for many reasons, including when a return:

  • Includes errors
  • Is incomplete
  • Is affected by identity theft or fraud
  • Includes a claim filed for an Earned Income Tax Credit or an Additional Child Tax Credit. See Q&A below.
  • Includes a Form 8379, Injured Spouse Allocation PDF, which could take up to 14 weeks to process
  • Needs further review in general
