Did you already e-file? If you did NOT e-file you can go to the FILE section and change how you want to receive your refund. If you want direct deposit you need the routing number and your own account number.
You cannot change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.
If you e-filed:
Banking information for direct deposit is wrong
If you entered incorrect banking information for your refund, you can change it if your return is rejected. If it is accepted, however, it is too late to change it. The bank will reject the refund and send it back to the IRS. Then the IRS will issue a paper check and mail it to the address you put on your tax return. Expect a delay of at least a couple of weeks to receive your refund.
Here is what the IRS says about entering incorrect banking information
I am worried about your user name ----is it your telephone number
This is a public web site that can be seen by anyone—including scammers and would-be identity thieves who would love to contact you and pretend to be from TurboTax.
This just happened to me today and the money was supposed to be deposited today. I called my bank and they said the other account number was invalid and that they reject it and correct it themselves and will deposit the money either later today or tomorrow morning. They said they always double check the names on the returns and if they don't match then they put it on a list, internally, and correct it themselves. They said very rarely do they send it back to the IRS.
My advice is to call your bank ASAP and explain what happened. They CAN fix it the same day. As a matter of fact just as I was typing this, my bank called back (not even 5 minutes after I called them) and it has already been corrected and will be in my account within the next hour or two!
So CALL CALL CALL your bank!!!!
I have put the wrong account number to my IRS form, but my routing number is correct. Will I still get my money back to me if this is wrong
What will happen if I have done that?
If your financial institution rejects the deposit, the government will mail your refund check to the address listed on your return. For more information, please see: What if I entered the wrong bank account for direct deposit?

The bank will reject the direct deposit and send the refund back to the IRS. The IRS will send a refund check in the mail to the address entered on the tax return.
I enter the wrong checking account number for my sister-n-law and she got a paper check in about 2-3 weeks later after everyone else got their direct deposit.
I put in 5 instead of 4 in the account number it says sent but I haven’t received anything. What do I do?
If the bank rejects your deposit the IRS will mail a check to the address on your return.

And if it was a real account and the bank accepts it then the IRS says they will not get involved - they sent it to the account you specified, if incorrect it is between you and the bank. Most banks will not direct deposit if the name on the deposit does not match the name on the account, but some will.

Once a tax return has been filed the bank information for direct deposit or direct debit cannot be changed.
