Please follow the instructions below for more details on how to access your (2017) prior return.
If you have already filed your 2018 tax return using the Free Edition without PLUS, then you need to upgrade to PLUS and pay first to access your prior year return. Please follow the instructions below:
Login to TurboTax.com
On the Tax Home screen click "show" to see all your tax returns & documents.
Under 2018 click on "Add a State." (We are not actually adding a state, but need to get back to the page to upgrade to PLUS.)
Click "upgrade" on from the left menu. (If it is greyed out, you already upgraded and can close out of there.)
Now, click on "Tax Tools" from the left menu.
Click "Print Center."
Select "Print This year's Return." (Not Prior year's return or you will get knocked out of the return.)
Click "Pay Now" to pay for PLUS to access the prior year's return.
If you have not already filed your 2018 tax return, please click on the link below for more instructions.

How do I get my 2017 tax return?
How can I find my 2017 tax return? I want to print it out.
Thanks

You have to sign onto your 2017 online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the 2017 online account.
Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one). Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.
Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If none of the user ID's received will access your 2017 account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
To access your prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Note: Every year, before mid-October, print a copy of your current year tax return and save it as a tax file and pdf, too. That way you will have it when you need it for school, a loan, next year’s tax return, etc. without going through a lot of aggravation (and expense) to get it.

I am trying yo retrieve a copy of my 2017 tax return
Use the same account and user ID to find that 2017 return that you used when you prepared it.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

I need to print a copy of my 2017 and 2018 tax returns. Can you help me with that?
@wesley2406 All the information on how to print tax returns has already been posted on this thread. Did you not read all the prior messages before you posted on this thread?
Not sure if I have tax liabilities … When it tells me to enter the amount for a 2018 State Tax the box already has 111. entered … does that mean that's how much my tax liability is already?
