This is what the email says... should I refile again? Or wait ‘til it gets accepted?

Your return was NOT accepted ... it was rejected ... it must be fixed and refiled. The rejection message you have indicates a return in your SS# has already been filed ... did you possibly file an early registration non filer return for the stimulus check ???
Did you submit your information through one of the non-filer applications in order to get your stimulus payment? There are non-filer options either through TurboTax or the IRS.
If so, when using the non-filer system, your information is processed by the IRS as an original filed return.
If not, then you may have a more serious identity theft issue to address.
See the following TurboTax articles for some additional advice about your situation:
Reject R0000-902-01: Taxpayer TIN must not be the same as a previously accepted return
If you used the IRS non-filer site to get a stimulus check, you will now get a “duplicate SSN” rejection. We are seeing people who did not notice or ignored the warning on that site about using it if they would be filing a tax return.
In the first place, TurboTax shows that my e-filing was successful after that they redirected me to a free benefit thing from there I got my problem, so I refiled it, and then I received that email saying that it was rejected then I fixed it like it stated....
so will I just wait for it to be accepted or should I let it stay that way
Your opinion are much appreciated 💕
OK---did you use the e-file status tool and does it show that your return was accepted?
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
If that tool shows that your return was accepted, then any further tries to file again will be rejected, no matter what you messed around with after you e-filed. After you e-file your return and it is accepted you should not change anything on it. If you changed something after you e-filed it and it was accepted, change it back to exactly the way it was when you e-filed it the first time. If you change anything after you have e-filed it, none of those changes go to the IRS. And it will mess up your return in case you end up having to amend later for some reason.
And how long ago did you e-file?
As I’ve seen it 3 days ago, it was still in Pending status before I got an email stating that it was rejected because of times of fixing it by refiling again....
I did not ask what your email said. I asked you what it says when you use the e-file status tool. Did you use that tool? What did it say?
It is still not clear whether your first e-file was accepted. That is why you need to use that tool. Please use that tool and tell us what it says.
as others have posted and based on the reason for the rejection - a SSN on your return was used on another filed return - you can no longer e-file. This is an IRS rule. it must be mailed in. you need to print your return and follow TT filing instructions. mail using a method where you will get proof of delivery.
@ceyhundagli If the e-file tool is telling you the return is rejected then you must have an "unfixable" reason for the rejection like a SSN problem. If that is the case then your only way to file now is to print, sign and mail the return.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
And---did you use the non-filer tool to get a stimulus check? If so, that is why your return is being rejected.
If that is the case please see this:
