My daughter did not click on the box allowing someone to claim her as a dependent for her 2021 tax filing. Her 1040 form has been accepted by the IRS. When I filed my taxes claiming her as dependent, my taxes were rejected because the dependent box was not clicked on her form. When I try to file a 1040 amended for her return, there is no way to correct that error on the form 1040X. Any advice would be helpful.

That is under My Info. There is a box to check if you are being claimed as a dependent.
Also did you mail your return? You don't have to wait for her amended return since you have to mail yours.
Whose return are you trying to amend---hers or your own? The one that will have to be amended is hers----but not until it has been fully processed. You correct her mistake by going to My Info and changing the way she answered the question about whether she can be claimed.
Meanwhile....amending is not the way to solve your problem. Since your daughter put her SSN into the system, you cannot e-file this year even if she amends. The only way you can claim her is to file by mail. You do not amend your own return to do that.
If you clicked on amend for yourself:
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
