Now they want an additional 600 dollars.
I tried calling the IRS but they dont take calls due to high number of calling

On the 2020 return only the missing first and second stimulus payments were allowed as a credit NOT any part of the third stimulus payment. NOWHERE in the interview were you asked about the third stimulus amounts.
If you said you did not get all the first 2 stimulus payments you were entitled to in advance then those missing amounts could be a credit on the 2020 return so if the IRS disagrees with the amount you listed on the return you will get a letter like you did. Your only option is to pay the amount on the notice and then if you did not get the amount you can have a trace put on the check ...
Please see How do I request a payment trace to track my first or second Economic Impact Payments?
The 600 is probably for the 2nd stimulus not the 3rd one. The 3rd one is $1,400 per person.
Did you get the first and second stimulus checks? Only the first 2 rounds go on your 2020 tax return. Not the 3rd one. Did you get the second one after you filed? You had to enter what you already got into the right 2 boxes or Turbo Tax gave it to you again. The IRS knows they already sent it to you. Line 30 is only if you qualify more for the 1st and 2nd ones.
