You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Here's how you can fix it:
Sign in to your account and select the Fix my return button. Follow any “fix it” instructions to update the information causing the rejection.
Note: Not all rejections will have explicit guides to fix the information. You’ll need to navigate to the program area to address the cause of the rejection.
Time-saving Tip: If what you originally entered is correct, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, a dependent that's already been claimed, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return. This article will give you instruction on how to print and mail your return.

Do I need to include the W-2 with the form if I decide to mail the tax returns ?
If you opt to mail the tax return instead of e-filing then you need to include all W-2's and any Form 1099's that you received which have taxes withheld with the mailed tax return.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for IRS E-file reject error IND-183-01 - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/e-file-reject-error-ind-183-01-the-spouse-did-not-...
This error is for a 6 digit IP PIN that should have been entered on your tax return for your spouse. If you are mailing the tax return then you Must write in the 6 digit IP PIN on the tax return. The block for entering the IP PIN is located on page 2 of the Form 1040 where you sign the tax return.
If you do not have the IP PIN for your spouse then go to this IRS website for information - https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/retrieve-your-ip-pin
i fixed the errors but kept saying that is wrong, doesn't give me the option to verify. it goes directly to send my tax returns.
My IRS PIN is a 6 (SIX) diget code. Turbotax only allows for 5 (FIVE) digets. What gives?? And how to enter and where?
There are only 5 digits allowed in TurboTax yet the IRS code is 6 digits. How can I add?

To enter, edit or delete a 6 digit IP PIN
Or enter ip pin in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to ip pin
