The calculation is based on your 2020 income. If there is something different in 2020, than there was in 2019, it may be calculated differently than you expect.

Yes, it is based of 2020 and based off that we'd get $1800 for the second round but the program only counts 2 people.
I ran a few different scenarios and everytime it excludes our dependant.

2 people with under $150, 000aig should be $1800 second stimulus..

Many times the reason the dependent does not get counted is because the child's age is 17 or older on your 2020 tax return.
So if a 17 year old in high school does not count as a dependent for the stimulus then that equates to them being treated like an adult so they should be able to get their own stimulus check, correct?
Unfortunately, no. There is simply no stimulus for that age group.
