If you tell us the rejection message/code, we can tell you how to fix it. Are you a paid tax preparer?
Also, you are asking from TT Online, which is only good for one return per account.
This happens if you use the wrong SSN accidentally.
Other tax software does this also.
Be more careful.
Error was IND-031-04. I went back into TurboTax and follow their step by step process. I then resubmitted the e-file and it was rejected again with the same error. Regardless of that my question is 'why is the rejection counted toward the max amount you are allow to e-file?
When did you file 2019? If it was late in the year or you mailed it, try putting in 0 (zero) for the AGI. And see, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/what-if-i-entered-the-correct-agi-and-i-m-still-ge...

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.
For AGI Reject code 031

And no it should not count towards the 5 efiles. But it will if it goes though. If you are having trouble with that then Contact Customer Service

What is the Turbo Tax phone number

SSN was correct. TurboTax needs to tweak their rejection solving info and process. I went thru this rejection process twice without success so I just mailed in the tax return. My other e-file tax returns were successful however this was still counted toward my max allowed.
This happened to me too. Two rejections because of AGI and then my limit showed as reached, when my other family members went through efile just fine.
Try Efiling again with a different phone number. If you transferred a prior year return, change the phone number in the Personal Info section and use that same number in the Efile section.
