For many users, the "jump to" shortcut links (normally accessible from the Search tool in the top right corner) are not showing up.
Tell us what you need to get to, and we can tell you how to get the "jump to" link, and can also give you an alternate method to get to your topic if the "jump to" doesn't show up.
I am trying to check what IP PIN number my daughter used in her return that keeps getting rejected. I looked this up and it said to search IP PIN and then go to the Jump To but there isn't one. Please let me know the best way to find the field that has this input.
Thanks,
Peter
You don't need it now. Efiling has closed and it is too late. She has to print and mail it now. So she doesn't need a Pin or AGI.
Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

Since the 2018 tax return can now only be printed and mailed to the IRS, the IP PIN is entered manually on the Form 1040 in the Signature block area just to the right of Occupation.

If she's reporting a 6-digit Identity Protection PIN (provided by the IRS for certain victims of ID theft), then also be sure she reports the current one. If she had an IP PIN last year for her 2017 return, do not use that one again. If she had one previously, she should have received a new IP PIN in a letter from the IRS in December 2018 or January 2019.
If you can NOT get a jump to link to work for you, go instead to Tax Tools > Tools > Topic List. Locate where you want to go and click on those words.
For @noreen5664 you can:
1. go to the income section
2. click on edit/review next to your Schedule C.
3. On the next screen, click REVIEW
4. Then click on LOOKS GOOD at the bottom and you will be at Sch C deductions.
I can't find the jump to link
When you do a Search (upper right with the magnifying glass) and enter a keyword to search for, the first result may be a jump to link.
You will see a jump to link only when what you enter is exactly what the jump to link to connected with. For example, if you enter 1095-A, you will get a jump to link for the 1095-A form. However, if you enter 1095-A ACA, then you will get some hits on answers in the Community, but no jump to link.
So pay attention to the exact keyword you are asked to enter in Search.
In my experience you are more likely to see the "jump to" link if after you enter the keyword in the search box, you click the adjacent blue magnifying glass icon displayed on the search bar instead of using your "enter" key. Ignore any suggestions in the dropdown list; they may not produce the "jump to." Also be sure you enter the keyword without quotes.
Or you can use the Topic Search method that TT AmyC mentioned above by going to the left menu column to TAX TOOLS>Tools>Topic Search. It provides a list of all topics.
I'm trying to amend my 2018 return to add a Form 1098T Tuition and Enrollment expenses. No Jump To link appears. When I try to amend my return in the Expenses and Scholarships (Form 109-T) section to a Gather Additional Education Expenses section, click Continue and the hyperlinked Tuition and enrollment fees section shows $0. When I click on it a help box to the right opens which says "This amount, which you entered earlier, includes the total amount of tuition and related fees.........." I can't get back to that section that I supposedly entered earlier.

I don't know a lot about 1098-T but may be able to help you at least navigate to revisit topics in that section. If my steps below don't get you where you need to go, then you'd probably be best-served to start a brand new topic with your issue in the title, where a lot of folks are more likely to see it than this old cluttered thread from last year on multiple issues. Essentially the steps to go back are to first continue on (i.e., go forward) to a Summary screen and THEN go back using the special steps below. I can't guarantee this will work since I have no way of simulating it, but this is a way those steps work in the Online version, so I'm assuming it's similar in your 2018 desktop software.
If after that, you're still not where you need to be, either keep watching here to see if anyone responds in this old thread, or you can start a new one. If necessary, we can tell you how to phone TurboTax Support.
I cannot enter the tuition paid as reported on the 1098-T
To file your 1098-T please follow the steps below:
Additional Information on 1098-T's.
I need to enter an IRA Rollover. When I searched for instructions it said Search 1099 R then JUMP TO link on Search but I can never find a Jump To to click on.
