My last USAA credit card transaction that downloaded was on Sept 4, 2022. I bought a Quicken membership and still couldn't download USAA CC transaction until a specialist went through a "back door." GROWL. My Life Insurance with USAA will show up but none of the CC purchases.
I've been with USAA for 23 years and have never had issues downloading transaction. And I've been a mint.com user for5-6 years I think. I can't even remember. When there have been issues, they've been resolved quickly. This is going on 4 weeks and VERY disruptive. I hope Mint.com and USAA will get it together.
Same issue as everyone else. USAA CC transactions are not getting pulled into Mint. Hoping this gets resolved soon. All other accounts are working fine.
I can roughly correlate your observations. My wife & I haves separate & joint accounts w/ USAA, captured in a single Mint account. My credit card accounts are 'inactive' within Mint, but my wife's credit card (including a shared joint card) are 'active' within Mint. The best I can correlate is something with USAA's app & how it's impacted the credit card account data, as my app is updated but my wife's is not. Interesting, I'm sure it'll sort its self out eventually. I've been with Mint a long time (way before they were sold to Intuit) and they'll figure it out. This has happened a couple times in the past, but trust me its worth sticking with it as I haven't found a better budgeting & financial status service better than Mint.
This is so infuriating. We're trying to fix our house, and WAY overspent because I kept looking at Mint, thinking we had money left. We're now nearly broke. MINT, FIX THIS!!!
I seriously feel like Mint stopped caring when they were purchased by Intuit. I've never had a good experience with their customer support since they were bought out. Also, why can't they get around the issue with having to MFA our USAA account every single time you want Mint to update? Every competing product I've tried had a way around that issue (by trusting their service as a device). Every time my wife wants to see where sit in our budget, I have to open Mint so that I can do the USAA text to get updates.
I'm going to dig into alternatives again. Maybe there are some out now that actually compete with Mint's feature-set.
I just tried Simplifi by Quicken, and they had the exact same issue. So, it is a USAA issue. 😕
Nope. Still not fixed. Chatting with a rep now. Supposedly my ticket is "still escalated".
I too have the same problem with other USAA accounts updating, but not CC account for the past three weeks. I hope it gets fixed soon!! Thanks to everyone who has raised this issue with support...the squeaky wheel gets the oil...
Spoke to USAA this morning. It's a known issue on their end. The rep had no idea when it will be fixed. I'm going to stop using my USAA Visa completely since I count on Mint to keep track of my finances. Maybe one day it will be fixed, but there didn't seem to be any urgency on USAA's part.
I’ve tried that already and it did not work. Lost all my transaction history since 2018.
I spoke to both Intuit and USAA this morning. Intuit rep blamed the problem on USAA and told me Intuit couldn't do anything. Three different USAA reps had no knowledge of the problem. I ended up filing BBB complaints against both Intuit and USAA. I suggest everyone having similar problems do the same. Here are my case and complaint numbers for reference.
Mint case number
1.5.0.3.5.1.2.2.4.2
Mint BBB complaint number 0d1b9515-4c14-11ed-ac75-0e63a05a1194
USAA case number ca-9577937
USAA BBB complaint number 18226893
Why is this question marked as resolved? There is no resolution for the issue. It is an issue with USAA but good luck contacting anyone at USAA to help. I have been working with them for over a month and they have closed my incidents. They have also disconnected me from the web support staff. I am trying to get assistance from the executive resolution team but they aren't even calling me. I guess being a customer for over 30 years with USAA is not worth anything to them. Very frustrating.
Thanks for keeping after this with USAA kajoyce65. I contacted USAA this morning (web services) and they acknowledged it's a problem. I let them know that even though it's a 3rd party product and they may not be real concerned with it, they might lose several customers over it (including myself). I too am a long-time (32 yrs) customer with them. The reply was that they know the problem is caused by recent changes they have made, and they requested that I wait until the end of the month (when they finish making changes, it sounded like) to see if the issue is resolves. We'll see!
Has anyone else noticed the increased push of the USAA Budget tile? Hmmm …
I agree. Need this fixed ASAP. Or will no longer be able to use Mint. It’s been excellent until this episode
So it appears USAA is blaming Mint for the issue based on their update even though they haven't spoken to me about the problem. The Office of the CEO representative Melinda decided on 10/12 that the problem has to be resolved by Mint and that USAA can't help with the issue. If she would have contacted me I would have explained why her assumptions were wrong. If my insurance details are updated and my credit card transactions are not and USAA passes my credit card status as inactive. It can't be a Mint issue. Since Mint is only processing the details received. The problem is USAA is passing the wrong state for the credit card and is not passing transactions to Mint (or Fidelity's full view) which I already told USAA but they are not listening.
I just posted another update on the USAA Community since at least the moderator is responding on the community. The answers being provided are wrong but hey it is better than the dead air I got from the incidents I had logged.
