I mailed my 1040 in four months ago. Now I want to amend.
Problem: Turbo Tax does not provide "2024" Amendment option. Only 2023 and earlier. See below:

It's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online.
You can also request a transcript from the IRS

Which TurboTax program did you use to complete and file the 2024 tax return.?
The TurboTax online web-based editions or the TurboTax desktop editions installed on a personal computer?
If you use the TurboTax desktop editions, the 2024 tax return will only be on the computer where the TurboTax software was installed. It will not be on the TurboTax online editions.
You posted a screenshot of the the TurboTax online editions where you signed onto the online editions with a User ID that was used to complete multiple tax years.
Followed instructions. I only have 1 account. And it correctly shows my last 11 years returns.
Greetings:
-I am using Turbo Tax online, this year. (Not the desktop edition)
-Yes, its running on my personal computer.
-You wrote: "You posted a screenshot of the the TurboTax online editions where you signed onto the online editions with a User ID that was used to complete multiple tax years." Yes, this is correct.
?
If you only have one TurboTax User ID and you completed the 2024 tax return using the online editions then you should have the 2024 tax return available.
Try clearing cache and cookies on your web browser.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for clearing cache - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/product-system-requirements/clear-cache/...

If that does not help and you still are unable to access the 2024 online tax return, contact TurboTax support for assistance.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for contacting support - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/turbotax-phone-number...
Also, did you verify that you online have one TurboTax account - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/many-intuit-accounts-...
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
Can you even see or get back into your 2024 return? Go back to Tax Home. Do you see Add a State anywhere? You need to click on Add a State to get back into your 2024 return. I would try logging out and clearing your cache and cookies then log in again. Maybe try logging in from another computer or device.
Otherwise you will need to call support Monday.

Thanks. Clearing Cache and Cookies did not resolve the issue.
I found the problem.
Turbo Tax said I didn't yet pay for my return. So, I had to pay AGAIN. Once I did this my 2024 return appeared under AMEND.
I checked my banking records. I paid $500+ on Feb 21 when I completed my original return.
So, yeah, now, I paid twice.

You will have to contact TurboTax support for assistance with this problem. Use the key words Billing Issue
See this TurboTax support FAQ for contacting support - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/turbotax-phone-number...
What did you pay $500 for? Turbo Tax doesn't know or care if or when you paid a Tax Due. It probably wanted you to pay the Turbo Tax fees. You might have upgraded to a higher version.
