TurboTax Free Edition insists I must upgrade to Deluxe Edition Form 8801 (Prior year Alt Min Tax) which I've never used. How do I override/remove the auto suggestion?

The automation system says I must use Form 8801 for prior year min tax. It will NOT let me beyond the "upgrade" option. I have reviewed all the way back to 2015 and never used alternative minimum tax or anything related. I've spent hours reviewing, re-entering, playing with automated help, and only frustrated more. Now I'm considering NOT using TurboTax just so I can file. Automation is no help and this is inconvenient at best.  Is there a way to continue with the Free Edition?  OR, is there a live person that can actually assist and correct this error??

You can switch back to TurboTax Free Edition by using clear and start over to erase your current return and start from scratch. You can start over as long as you have not registered the product, submitted payment, or deducted your TurboTax fee from your refund.

You can also reach out to TurboTax Customer Support and have an agent review the entries in your return with you to help locate the error.
