Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.
Many federal and state forms are not yet available. Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.
No hurry to e-file since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files until January 29. And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.
The availability tool doesn't seem to work either. If I select Ohio all it shows is municipalities and that they are unsupported in the software so I'm not sure what the point is of that.
How is it beyond Intuit's capability to simply say the forms aren't available yet if that's the case? Wouldn't this be the baseline of customer service? Oh, they'll accept your money. That works fine. But update the software to say "The form isn't available yet," that's too hard. Also thank you for the link but form 1120 S is not on that list. Apparently it's also too hard for Turbo Tax to publish a timeframe for when all forms will be available. Sometimes Turbo Tax seems completely outdated and user-unfriendly. Rant over.
I have heard from Turbotax representative that the PA state business forms will not be updated until 2/2.
THANK YOU! You would think that TT would notify the user ANDS their support team that the forms are not ready instead of putting you in a loop.
The same exact issue happened to me yesterday when I paid for the 1120S Pa. and downloaded the program. I called Turbo Tax support and this is where the fun begins. We did a screen share and wasted one hour until the agent called her manager to get involved. Thirty minutes later her manager called her boss to troubleshoot the issue. There were now three TT agents seeing my PC and giving me instructions. Nothing worked. Then the boss calls her boss and I can hear the entire conversation. The big boss tells the little boss that the download will not be available until Feb. 2, 2024. WTF?>?????????
They tell me that you can pay for the download anytime, but download not available until bla, bla, bla. Really???????? I've only been using the product for 30+ years and this is the first time this issue ever happened.
that form lookup link is useless for those that are looking for state business forms and not state individual forms.
You need to select TurboTax Windows (it defaults to online)
The Business program is only available for Windows computers. You have to pick Windows at the top instead of Online. Then you will get the dates for all the business returns.
ahh yes that does it. I hadn't scrolled up far enough I guess.
Funny the schedule K won't be available until 2/14 so even after PA files are available they still cannot be completed as we wait for the Fed and TT to finish up on schedule K.
Very frustrating! I also have a few forms not available when trying to complete my taxes. Never had this happen before. Purchased Turbo Tax Home and Business and patiently waiting to file, have everything we need to efile but waiting on forms to load into TurboTax, which were suppose to be ready today, Jan 31. Anybody know why the delay this year? Is anybody confident forms will get uploaded today or will we be waiting days? Is this only Turbo Tax or other tax prep softwares having the issues? I know people that have already efiled, so I don't know if the issue is with state agencies or TurboTax.
@dbon210-gmail-co A software update is now available
Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen
Click on Check for Updates
Still getting stuck in this loop even after updating. Trying to use NC state. Keeps saying my software is up to date, but still won't proceed.
It is because your state forms aren't actually ready
