I have talked to four different CSR's and spent close to 4 hrs on the phone and no one seems to know what the problem is. Everyone keeps saying to wait till 1/29 or 2/2 or 2/7. If I still cannot e file my return on 1/30 I will purchase a different product and request a full refund. Been using TT for about 10 years and have never had this kind of issue. The software has me in a loop of not being able to efile my NYS taxes because I can't efile my federal due to forms or regulations or other crazy stuff. Ridiculous!!!!

This is a known issue in TurboTax and we are working to resolve it as soon as possible. As soon as we have a resolution for you, it'll be shared on Community. The issue is scheduled to be resolved end of 1/31. Please do not file prior to 2/1.

Appreciate your response. Very disappointed in TT's response to the issue however. As I mentioned in my original post I made 4 phone calls and spent over 3 hours on the phone with customer representatives who could not offer me a definitive answer on what the problem was. At one point I was told my Federal return was being rejected by the IRS. Scary! Because I was unable to get a resolution I turned to the Community and saw that several people decided to purchase alternate software. So yesterday, I purchased H&R Block Premium software for $87.47. I was just about to start the return using that software when I received your reply about an upcoming fix. I have been a loyal TT customer for over 10 years so I think it would be fair for TT to reimburse me for either the cost of the TT 2023 Home & Business software OR the $87.47 I spent for the H&R Premium software. Please pass this request to the powers to be and let me know what has been decided. Thank you.

It’s pretty crappy that I’ve purchased TT for many years and having an issue of some sorts every year. Now the IT-2 New York State is unsupported by TT? Which means I can’t efile! Have to print out and mail. What gives. Hoping the problems with Schedule C is fixed so I can efile federal. Spent 2 hours on phone yesterday, problems should had been fixed before software was released.
I am having this exact same issue with a return with Minnesota and North Carolina state returns. Tried again on 1/31 still having the issue. Please advise?
TT responded to my original post stating that they were aware of the issues and that a fix was to be available as a update at the end of 1/31 and to attempt to efile on 2/1 after receiving the software update. Only time will tell if that works.

A software update is now available
Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen
Click on Check for Updates
It is the end of Feb and I am still getting the same message. I can not file my federal and Ga return. Does anyone has an update on this issue or the only solution is to go to another provider to get it done? And yes my program is updated.
