I ran into same issue described in this thread so i figured i won't be able to file with TT
Unfortunately, before verifying ability to e-file TT charged me for tax service it has not yet provided, and now wont issue refund (3 hours already spent on the phone with reps)

If TT doesn't give me refund i ll seek filing class action and will be very vocal about my experience with everyone i can reach.

Your fee for online TurboTax is the same whether you e-file it or mail it in an envelope. The fee was for the use of the software to prepare your tax return.
But if you want to discuss your fees you can contact customer support.
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”

I was not informed that i will not be able to e-file. I m not interested in mail option, therefore offering was misrepresented.
TurboTax has no way to know that your tax return would be rejected for e-filing. The TurboTax account fees are for the use of the software to assist in completing a tax return. The fess are the same whether the tax return is e-filed or printed for mailing.
Oh no TT knows it says “we just need to fix one little thing” in the loop.
I did not download tax return for mailing (since i m not interested) and was not able to efile since TT won’t let me therefore service was not provided.
How is this even an argument look at the thread i linked! This is obvious TT issue they havent fixed for years and they refuse to refund people who can’t file because of the issue.
We are unable to handle any refunds here in this public forum, as we have no access to your account or your billing information.
All refund requests must be handled by speaking with a phone representative by clicking here.

They tried that with me. Also they want to charge me for the software again!!!!
I m just trying yo raise awareness and maybe bring attention of TT staff on a higher level. In thread i linked i see people still having troubles and some requested refund and were denied just as myself.
It s no longer an individual refund request.
It s a class action material and TT/intuit has chances to lose millions not to mention reputation.
