Transferring turbotax to a new computer

Im pretty sure i bought the last 2 or 3 versions from Costco. No disc. Just a code and a link to downliad from.

To download the older software from Costco you have to contact Costco. We cannot help you with that. You downloaded it from Costco, not from TurboTax.

When you buy a download from TurboTax.com you can download it as many times as you want for three years. Third-party retailers may have different policies.

You said you have to copy the state modules to the new computer.  How do I find them?

The first state you should be able to download for free from inside the program again.  If you bought other states they should be listed in your account.  So first be sure to update the program.  

If you upgraded to a higher version or bought extra states they should be in your Turbo Tax account downloads,  or you will need to ask support for them again,

Does installing TT on your new machine require me to purchase another copy of TT?  Or can I use the same download and code?

You can install the Desktop program on 5 computers you own.  Just log in to your Intuit account and download it again .  You will need the License Code.  It should be listed in your account with the download.
