We could not e-file your return for the following reason:
The Intuit Electronic Filing System is having difficulty recognizing the data in the return you are sending. To ensure you have the latest version of TurboTax, wait 24 hours to update your program automatically. If you still can't transmit your return, go to www.support.turbotax.com for a solution or workaround. In some cases, you may need to file your return by mail. - 601ERRV:5, FilingHdr_6 - ?:? - Invalid Agency ID. Received '17'. Contains invalid characters

This is the same error I received yesterday, 10/15/21, as well.  Still waiting for a fix...

I had the same error and it was because some of my State forms will not be available until Feb 22nd. You can check to see when your state forms will be uploaded into Turbotax and then the submission should work on that date after you update the program.  I hope this helps.

This is the error message that I received.  I received the new updates for North Carolina state taxes and am trying to e-file now.  Is this because the e-file hasn't caught up with the latest changes?

The North Carolina Individual Income Tax Return Form D-400 is not yet available for e-filing.  It is estimated to be available on 02/24/2022

I am having a VERY HARD time  -- I transferred data into turbo tax from 2020 (I have been using turbotax for 20 years and have NEVER had this much trouble)      I started with my sons very simple taxes - he has 3 total docs to be entered and I keep getting this message:

"The Intuit Electronic Filing System is having difficulty recognizing the data in the return you are sending. Make sure your TurboTax program is up to date: Go to the online menu and select check for updates. If you still cant transmit your return, go to www.support.turbotax.com for a solution or workaround. In some cases, you may need to file this return by mail - Tax Year 2021 transmissions are not available - TurboTax is not ready to process Tax Year 2021 for this return"    

This is the message in its entirety.  YES I have upated the program and yes I have tried to find a solution on the support page. I also was on hold with a lady earlier today for @2hrs til we got cut off -   I have already paid twice for these to be submitted, as I tried to do a new return and typed everything in manually - still no go.  I am using the 2021 Home & Business CD purchased from Best Buy

Can you PLEASE help me figure out what I need to correct, or what is going on?  Happy to give you my email and cell if you would like.
