No, that is not an error message. You will receive that message if you have a form that needs to be filed with your tax return, but the IRS has not released it yet. What form are you filing?
Please click IRS forms availability table for TurboTax individual (personal) tax products to learn more.
I am getting this message also, when I do a review if does not indicate any forms are not available. There are numerous forms that the intuit system filled out so I have no idea how to even check which ones may be pending or when they will be ready. Very frustrating especially since I already paid and can't use another service.
Perhaps IRS form 8915-E or IRS form 7202 are found in your tax return.
You are able to find these forms by using the Topic Search tool. In TurboTax Online, you find the tool here:
IRS Form 8915-E (Qualified 2020 Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Repayments is used to report Coronavirus-Related retirement plan Distributions.
IRS form 7202 Credits for Sick Leave and Family Leave for Certain Self-Employed Individuals is not currently available for e-file. The form allows you to report these new tax credits:
I just paid Turbo $320 and now they tell me a form isn't ready .... any idea on when or if I can get my money back?

This is some serious BS, I paid a lot of money just for them to be like “oh, can’t do nothing” okay, well at the very least let me see a pdf of my 1040…? No? Can’t do that either!!!!???? Anger

The IRS hasn't finalized one or more of your forms. Once forms are finalized, you will be able to access this section.… I don’t understand exactly what’s it means? How long I should wait till I can file my return. Please explain more. Thank you !
In the Review section of the TurboTax program there will be a list of forms and/or schedules that are included in your tax return that have not yet been finalized and the date when they will be available for filing.
So, TurboTax is rushing me for weeks, to get started on my taxes - SPAMing me repeatedly to do so. So, I go ahead and get it done only to get this roadblock. Mine says that the missing form (8911) won't be available until 3/17/2022. Further, the filing process had me pay for the filing via credit card. Keep in mind that multiple times through the process, we are interrupted with the suggestion that we should upgrade. Intuit is just a little too focused on the revenue stream and needs to work on their product offering.
In this public forum, we are provided with form availability information, but not an explanation as to why the form is not available until that date. For additional information, it would be necessary to contact customer support. Please refer to the information below to contact customer support.

Today, (3/21) I'm getting the same message. I went through every category and hit "review this section" on everything. No luck.
I've also already paid for TurboTax and am not happy with my inability to finalize. I just want to file my taxes, help me out.
That means that all your forms have not yet been finalized. As DoninGA mentioned above, the review section will provide you with the list of forms and or schedules within your return that are not yet finalized along with the slated dates @Lysarian.
Funny how we cant file yet, BUT Turbo tax has zero problems with taking our money!
I have never had this issue ever and this year I’m getting this message. After years of using turbo tax, I’m moving on. Sorry turbo tax but I need my refund.
its 2023 and i'm still having this same issue.
