I have to wait until the IRS processes two forms as well. Not a TurboTax issue. Just a timing issue that would happen no matter who I filed with. If the IRS does not have the forms processed then, how is Turbo Tax or anyone other than the IRS able to change that? Take a breath and really think about it. In my case the review indicates that the forms will be available three days from now. In the old days of mailing in your taxes, you would not even be aware of the delay. Your refund would be processed in approximately six weeks or so.

You are posting on an old thread, but I suspect you are having problems e-filing. This is a known issue in TurboTax and we are working to resolve it as soon as possible. As soon as we have a resolution for you, it'll be shared on Community. The issue is scheduled to be resolved end of 1/31. Please do not file prior to 2/1.
You sound like an apologist for the cooperation. The fact of the matter is the form has been available for 3 days on the IRS website. Upon review, nothing has changed from last year. So there's no reason for turbotax not to have them filed. This is non-disclosure on the part of turbo tax. And people should file with their Attorney General's office for a complete refund.
It is Feb 7th 2024 go to the IRS and you will see the forms are there Turbotax has failed to meet their contractual obligations.
Once a form is finalized by the IRS, it has to be coded into the special language the software uses and has to be thoroughly tested for calculations and e-filing acceptability. The IRS then has to approve it for e-file. It always takes a little longer for a form to become available for e-file in a software program. The dates are subject to change due to all that needs to be done.
My complaint is this was not disclosed to me before. I paid turbotax online for filing my return nowhere. Was it disclosed !
after I paid then It was disclosed also nowhere in the post disclosure. Did it say there is no time frame after the form was available from the irs for turbotax to fix their system so that they could file.
Therefore Turbotax has violated federal and state law by not proper disclosing this information prior to the purchase I demand a full refund or I will seek class Action status lawsuit against this corporation
I have also received this message - filed 2 days ago - after the 2/1 date listed in prior comments - how long will this take to rectify - have never received this message in the past umpteen years of filing with TurboTax.
