Refund for Turbo Tax

I purchased a Turbo Tax product online directly from Turbo Tax during the form fillout process. I ended up not submitting my taxes with Turbo Tax and would like a refund for the product.

The self service portal for a refund won't work for me because there is no reference number from filing (because it wasn't filed). I have gotten no response from multiple emails to Turbo Tax and call wait times have been over an hour.

Hoping a representative can reach out to me.

No one can call you from the user forum.   We cannot help here with billing issues, nor can we arrange phone calls to you.

Customer support is available from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time Monday-Saturday.

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

If you were using the online program then there are  no refunds allowed once you've paid and registered the account because when you do so you have full access to the program. This is like trying to return the cow once you have drink all the milk.

If you're using the downloaded program then you have 60 days to apply for a refund from the date of purchase. Refunds after that 60-day period are no longer allowed.

The taxes were not filed due to messages that prevented filing so I went with a CPA.

Full access to a program/algorithm that did nothing for me... It cost them nothing to access this algorithm which did not help me or assist in filing my taxes. Your analogy is flawed.
