Thank you, Keep us posted... Appreciate the hard work behind the scenes... I will check back in again after the 19th
I called 800-446-8848 😉 It's not anything we can do on our end. It is technically available, it's just not showing it. So when you enter the information and then go back to the main page, it shows not started. But it is. It's complete. As long as all the data saves you should be good. That was what happened to me anyway. I would call they even escalated me to a manager without me having to ask. They were really nice about it.
Looks like it won't let me post the number in the reply, it blocks it. Maybe the pic will stay, but it's in the contact us section of the support.
There's a glitch with the system, IDK why thy aren't just posting that!! I called It's not anything we can do on our end. It is technically available, it's just not showing it. LOL - are ALL my tax forms ready? This is getting ridiculous, Intiut. Customer experience is really taking a seat for... not sure I know what. To be fair I'm letting this go until the 19th for you to save face (and a customer), I already have all my details in HR Block, just seeing if you turn things around. Not the case for some on this discussion, I'm personally less rushed and would like to keep things with Intuit for my own lazy reasons - that is getting less likely as this continues. More disgruntled by your company's lack of communication, going beyond checking a box and ownership of this obvious issue and detachment between support and the forms/experience. We've been giving you the chance to correct a wrong, show it. For details of why the SMS I received is beyond ridiculous, see my previous post.
There are 100% forms I have yet to fill out within the D&A section... they're not finished until I enter some additional information on my rental unit.
No I have not called Intuit. They know there is an issue it's across several dozen threads on TT community boards...
@DaveF1006 @PatriciaV @CatinaT1 @MonikaK1 - make everyone on this thread proud, go that extra mile so you're not driving hundreds of phone calls into the TT customer service center and tax personnel.
And this is not mentioning the Dire Strait situation of people like me having a personal deadline to file before Feb 1st.
I have a huge financial impact to file later and this is why I chosed a premium price SW like Turbo**bleep**, that frankly , doesn't work any better that Cash App SW (free)
Shame on you Intuit for selling a product that doesn't include the listed feature.
PLEASE CONTACT ME IN PM if interested to JOIN A LAW SUIT
Lake of transparency and BS comments from paid Intuit employees on this forum.
This is shame.
Another great brand of the past that going down... because they don't care of the customer.
Really!? Who treat their customers like this?
No anouncement, no answer, no transparency
only the "Oh yes we know it's taking more than a moment!"
Shame!
If TurboTax didn’t delay, unlike TaxAct or HRBlock, then we would have our refund around the time form 4562 will be activated. Their estimate is Feb 20, but they delayed multiple times already—-“February or sooner”, “Feb 1”, “Feb 11”, “Feb 13 or after”, “Feb 19”, “Feb 20”. So they could potentially delay again. COMPLETE DISASTER AND HUGE LET DOWN! Depreciation 4562 DELAYED 4562 not active yet why Need to expedite form 4562 amortization depreciation or otherwise use another platform Depreciation and Amortization Form 4562 DELAY
@tsharke unfortunately that is not true. It will not let you enter actual vehicle expenses without the depreciation module update.
OK, so I caved yesterday and called the number ref'd by others in this thread (main TT number). Tech support rep I talked to noted thier internal teams are saying by 2/27 (next friday) - lol. This is ridiculous. No one knows what's true 🙄
This is ridiculous. Turbo Tax will be losing a lot of customers.
Just got off the phone with a TurboTax rep. Apparently they’ve got their top depreciation specialist on it — one guy, elite, working a highly strategic 37 minutes per day to ensure maximum accuracy.
He assured me it’ll be ready “by February… but likely sooner,” which is incredibly reassuring because we are, in fact, currently in February. Progress is happening.
Back in the pre-SaaS era, TurboTax had to be fully produced and retail-ready in stores by this time, since the company bore the risk of losing money on unsold shelf inventory. It’s a shame to see where the company is today.
@FormerAccountantNowTech then everyone here would be filling by hand because IRS didn't finalize instructions for this form til last week
This is what happens when you vote for a president who never pays taxes and fires half the IRS.
