Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

You and me both.  If it only takes you minutes, you're ahead of me.  I looked for 20 minutes until I finally found your question that had the answer.

Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

Nope. Lots of smiling people. No place to ask a question.

Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

@TuckerdogAVL

Look carefully-----there is a blue box that kind of blends in with the background. under the words Get Your Taxes Done....click on Ask A Question

Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

No blue box with friendly smiling people if you start by going to "community." Found it only after I saw that if I ignored a search

Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

yes, found that after 10 minutes ... I'm getting better 🙂 thanks!

Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

I know.  I've been here many years and have a hard time finding it too.  They move it around.

Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

"Look carefully." How many times have we heard this? Like it's our fault. We haven't been looking hard enough. Yet year after year people keep complaining about this usability issue, and many others, and nothing gets fixed. Is it that complaints about bugs in the user forum don't get forwarded to the people who can fix them, or do they just choose to ignore them? Is there a better place to report bugs in the website and the software itself? Is Intuit really okay with having users pay for their software, inputting their data, and then not being able to file their taxes because of a bug that doesn't show up until the filing process?

Serious question: what is wrong with this company?

Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

Like most companies today. Do the minimum; charge fees. Complaints are filed in the round file 🙂

@dlivesay Sorry if you take offense to "Look carefully"    I am not the graphic designer.   Just a volunteer trying to help.

@xmasbaby0:

I appreciate your trying to help, but you can safely assume that anyone who shows up in this thread has already looked very carefully for longer than they should reasonably have to. The problem is the design, not the users.

Good user interface design requires understanding how users interact with the interface, not telling them how they should, or worse, just assuming they will do what you expect them to. I'm always reminded of this wonderful error dialog Microsoft put into early versions of Windows.taskbar.png

It basically tells the user, "we know what you're trying to do, but, instead of making it work like you expect it to, we're going to tell you how to do the 'right' thing." They could have just as easily implemented the expected action, but they didn't. This is a design philosophy that shows a total lack of respect for the user, and it's clearly the one Intuit has chosen.

Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

Truly, this makes my BLOOD BOIL!  I am swearing up and down, this is THE LAST YEAR I USE ANY INTUIT PRODUCT EVER.

Why is it so hard to find the "Ask a question" button???????

OMG. How True!  I just wasted 45 minutes trying to find the magic hidden "Ask a Question?" button.

This site is a huge Java-driven disaster of a Mobius strip going in a giant frustrating circle.  It's a total kludge.

For the Love of God, please message me the landing page to post about TurboTax Business. I just messaged TagTeam asking him, as I give up.

I did find an odd buggy page in the TT Business efile segment, but I can continue sailing in Intuit's online Sargasso Sea.

Maddening.  Just add a **bleep** drop-down menu to Post a New Question.  My God.
