I appreciate your trying to help, but you can safely assume that anyone who shows up in this thread has already looked very carefully for longer than they should reasonably have to. The problem is the design, not the users.
Good user interface design requires understanding how users interact with the interface, not telling them how they should, or worse, just assuming they will do what you expect them to. I'm always reminded of this wonderful error dialog Microsoft put into early versions of Windows.
It basically tells the user, "we know what you're trying to do, but, instead of making it work like you expect it to, we're going to tell you how to do the 'right' thing." They could have just as easily implemented the expected action, but they didn't. This is a design philosophy that shows a total lack of respect for the user, and it's clearly the one Intuit has chosen.
